Niall's pov

"So, how's your relationship been, eh?" Everyone glanced over at Louis, patiently waiting for his answer. "It's been great," he grinned. "Danielle's incredible. She's literally the most beautiful girl in the world. Honestly I feel so lucky to have met her." "Ugh," I groaned, much louder than I would've liked. "What?" Liam asked, turning to face me. "Something wrong?" He teased. "Shut up. You know exactly what's wrong." The three of them giggled before quietly settling down. "Aww, c'mon man," Harry chuckled. "Being single for like a decade can't be that bad." I grabbed the pillow I was leaning on before chucking it at Harry. "It's not about being single. It's the idea of love. It's fucking dumb. I don't see why you lads make it such a big deal." "'Mate, have you ever been in love?" Liam said, scooting to the edge of his seat. "Look, I can tell you from personal experiences that.. love, it-it's the best thing in the world." I scoffed in disgust, "Quit getting all sentimal, Liam. I don't need this right now." "But Niall, have you at least tried falling in love with someone? Anyone at all?" Louis broke out in a fit of laughter, "Liam, he's Niall. Ofcourse he hasn't. This boy is just about as big of an amateur as my son. He knows nothing about love." "Shut the fuck up Louis!" I yelled. "Niall, c'mon mate, you know you've always had trouble with love. Just admit it" "I do not have trouble with love!" "Oh yeah? Then why do you always get so defensive when we talk about our girlfriends, huh?" "I-i..." "Exactly. Plus, I doubt you'd be able to get any girl to fall inlove with you" "Not true!" My face was tomato red and my chest filled with a burning sensation of anger. "I bet I can get any girl to fall in love with me!" "Really?" Louis asked, unimpressed as he got up from his seat and walked over to me. "Alright, bet on. Be sure to get a girlfriend within the next week, mate. I wanna meet her," he smirked before sticking out his hand. I gladly took it in mine, giving it a form shake. "Game on, Louis."

Next day

I roamed the school hallways the next day, in search of a vulnerable girl who'd easily fall for my charm. When I told Louis that I could get any girl to fall in love with me, I didn't actually mean it. It's not that easy to find someone who likes you just as much as you like them. But Louis' bet was for me to find someone to like me, not for me to find someone to like. Well, it can't be that hard right? Plus, it's pretty difficult to find a perfect girl at my school considering the majority of them are trash. I glanced around the crowded hallways, keeping a close eye out for any girl that I'd be willing to trick. Mhmm... Well, I'm definitely not going for the cheerleaders. They're all about getting into a guys' pants and that's not what I need right now. Although, I wouldn't mind- No, stop it Niall, concentrate. Those girls are rude and arrogant and I shouldn't fall under their disgusting spell. Okay, well the nerds and emos are off the list. No way do I wanna deal with either of them. I walked further down the halls, turning my head back and forth. Louis wants me to find myself a girl, so she has to be somewhat impressive. Alright, impressive, vulnerable... what else? I think that's all I'm looking for. There's not much else to it, is there? I glanced around once more, before my eyes landed on the perfect girl. She isn't very popular, but she's not anti-social either. She's right in the middle. She doesn't necessarily fall under any label, but she has friends, good grades, and she's sorta pretty I guess. I know she's never had a boyfriend before, so if I were to ask her on a date, there's no doubt she'd say yes. And I mean, there's no way she can argue against the fact that I'm pretty much the hottest guy in school. Of course this is gonna work out. There's no doubt in my mind that (Y/N) will fall in love with me.
