"Oh we'll be looking for sunlight
Or the headlights
Till our wide eyes burn blind..."

Felicity woke up the next morning to a piercing sound that definitely wasn't her alarm. It took her a moment to identify the sound as her phone ringing, she grasped it off the table and answered it without taking in the caller ID. "Hello?" She mumbled, her voice croaky from sleep.

"Hey. It's me, Ol- Jonas. I'm so sorry about last night, a work thing came up that I had to take care of. But I really want to see you again. Can I come round later and pick you up?" Felicity rubbed her eyes, still sleepy and without coffee in her body. "Um. Sure. How's 6?"

"Perfect."

---------------------

"Where are we going, exactly?" Felicity asked curiously as Oliver guided her into the passenger seat of his car. "I think we've had plenty of dinner dates for a while. So I want to take you to my apartment. I want to show you the view." He said, looking at her intensely. She nodded, swallowing her fears. He smiled, leaned closer to her so she could smell him. "Don't worry. I do only want to show you the view tonight." He murmured softly in her ear, pressing into her, pulling her towards him slowly, savouring the heat between them. Felicity felt his hands press into her back and she arched towards him, her body building in anticipation. Then she felt the cars engine roar to life, and she felt Oliver's warm and pleasant body roll off her, as he focuses on getting them back to his place in one piece. He grinned at her cheekily, making her roll her eyes.

-------------------

They strolled into the lift and got in, but Oliver was desperate for her and once again pressed his body against Felicity's, kissing her mouth slowly while holding her tightly, his fingers slowly sliding up her back as she moaned deliciously in his ear, her arms slung around his neck, pulling his face closer to hers until the lift came to a screeching halt and they pulled apart. He smiled against her mouth and took her hand, leading her into the penthouse apartment. "Wow." Felicity gasped, looking around the place, pretending she hadn't been there before.
She stepped in, looking out the huge glass window, Oliver standing quietly behind her. She turned to him, smiling. "Your right. That is some view." She said, glancing over the city from his window.
He smiled, coiling his hands around her waist, pulling her towards him slowly. She hesitated, and Oliver paused. "Felicity." He groaned softly in her ear.
"Ol- Jonas." She corrected herself smoothly. He didn't notice.
"You are the most beautiful and amazing women I have ever met." He said, smiling, and letting go of her. She paused, looking at him curiously. He smiled at her puzzled face. "Felicity. I really like you. But I don't want to rush you into anything. I'm going to stick around for a while. I promise." His face was so sincere that Felicity wanted to believe him desperately, but she knew he was lying. For good reasons. She sighed. "Thank you." She said, gently kissing him on the cheek. She stood still, watching him and him watching her silently. "Let's watch a movie." Felicity said, her eyes brightening. Oliver laughed. "What did you have in mind?" Felicity paused.

"I would like to see that new film with Robert Downey Jr. Iron man?" Oliver chuckled.
"Didn't peg you as a superhero fan." He said, his eyes lightening up dramatically since their moment in the lift. And the car. "Well, they're pretty much the only films that get through the veto list from my father. But I don't know if I'd watch anything else if I'm honest." Felicity said, smiling.

Nearly 2 hours later and 2 explosions later, Felicity was fast asleep on Oliver's couch, curled up on his chest. Amanda had signed off hours ago muttering "It would be a miracle if you ever get any Intel out of this girl." Oliver had turned the film off as the credits rolled, and Felicity had been fast asleep. After those hellish years on the island, he never thought he deserved peace. But here it was, in the shape of a beautiful blonde lying on top of him. He had never felt so content, or so relaxed to have anyone so close to him and not see them as a possible threat. But what he was doing was wrong. He should be holding her at arms length, like she was him, but for totally different reasons. He didn't want to break this girl.

He had 3 weeks.
