We made it to the bus stop and finished the ridiculous song we were singing. The song refreshed our little group to the extent that everyone was smiling. I couldn't stop smiling, myself.
Carter opened his backpack and got out enough money for him and the rest of us to travel to L.A. I hope they accept our little Greek coins we got going there.
The bus finally got here and Carter threw the darechmas (is that how you spell it? Idk if you know pls comment the right spelling and I'll edit it) at the bus driver and yelled "UMPA!"(it means "celebrate" in Greek). The bus driver's expression was hard, but turned to shock when he saw the foreign, Greek currency.
"Where are you going?" The pudgy man asked.
"Las Vages" I stated, shifting my backpack to the right side of my shoulder.
"Got it." The bus driver smiled and winked, stretching out his wrinkley face, then stomped hard on the gas pedal. We all flew to the back of the bus as it went in hyper speed. Once we finished struggling to our seats, I had to hold onto the front seat to keep myself from falling backward.
This didn't surprise anyone except Khara, which, aside from the hyper speed stretching her face back, she looked quite flustered.
In, like the next five minutes, the bus stopped and the doors opened.
"Las Vages!" The bus driver chimed and grinned at us as we filed out of the skinny bus doors. He looked at me and his expression changed from happy, to worry.
"Be safe." He said, putting his hand on my shoulder. With that, I walked out of the bus, the doors closing behind me and the bus speeding off.
"Carter, lead the way." I stated, and Carter started off, with us following.
