"No! Please don't leave me! I love you!" I screamed after somebody. It was a guy. A guy that I love, I suppose.
I was gripping his arm, clinging on to him like my life depended on him.
I guess it did because losing a real love means losing your life.
He had his back at me, one of his hands on a doorknob,the other one had me gripping on it.
His head was turned a little bit to the side, so he could hear me better.
"Adaline-" He never used my full name before. " I can't," He whispered, pain flowing out of his voice,something dropping from his jaw, glistening in the moonlight. It was a tear.
Knowing that I was the one responsible for his tear, my heart was clenching in pain and guiltiness.
"Please! No! I love you!" He turned a bit his head to the side, more than it was, so he could watch me sideways.
