She writes in random capitalization, something about it being equality amongst letters, and even with a bolded red F at the top of her papers, she refused to quit. You see, nothing would ever stop her from trying to be the quirky girl in her favorite book. When she read, she absorbed pieces of the characters she loved, whether it was purposely or not was to remain a mystery. She smoked like Alaska and cursed like the boy from The Tragic Age. Like the lovable Carson Phillips, she hated her town and writing was what she did. Sutter Keely was her best friend and she was always the life of the party. She enjoyed poetry like Dante and life like Aristotle. Depression was her worst enemy and she knew all the facts. Thank you It's Kind of A Funny Story. She was almost a fictional character herself. I loved her characterized life, almost as much as I hated it. She spent to much time trying to be everyone but herself and quite frankly, it scared me how far she' go. Thirteen Reasons Why was a book she hoped to read and I will never be able to describe to you the pain I felt when she finished it.
