When Bruce and Natasha started dating, Bruce was scared that he might hurt Natasha whilst Natasha though Bruce might not love her because of her problem.
"Bruce?" Natasha had finally got Bruce alone in the lab without Tony.
"Yes Nat?"
"Do you want to go on a date? I mean, nothing really fancy,"
"I'd love to Nat," Bruce replied. He set down his work so he could look at his girlfriend. He saw Natasha beaming.
"Great, I'll meet you at 5 o'clock, alright?"
"Fine," Natasha kissed Bruce's cheek before leaving.
Bruce was dressed smartly but it was casual. Natasha turned up wearing a dress that reached past her knees and she was wearing a pair of flat black shoes. Natasha took Bruce to a park where a picnic blanket lay. They both had a picnic and they agreed to watch the sun set.
They both leaned in to kiss when Bruce felt his pulse speed up. He pulled away from Natasha and looked at his hands. They were slowly turning green. He took off in sprint.
"Bruce!" Natasha called after him but it was too late. The Hulk took over.
Natasha found the Hulk and held her hand out to him. She was shaking but she still reached out. Surprisingly, the Hulk reached back.
"The sun's getting real low big guy, you promised to watch it with me," the Hulk began to shrink and become Bruce again. Natasha left a pile of clothes for Bruce before heading back to the picnic blanket.
Bruce stumbled over to her in the spare clothes.
"I'm sorry," he said as he rubbed his eyes.
"Don't be," Natasha patted the space next to her and Bruce sat there. They both watched the sun go down together.
