"Bruce! You don't understand! I can't have children!" she yelled in frustration.
"We don't need to have children, we can be happy with just us two," said Bruce as he tried to take Natasha's hand. Natasha swatted away her boyfriend's hand and he sighed.
"I'm a monster!" Natasha screamed while she stormed out.
"You're not a monster!" Bruce called after her.

An hour after the argument, Bruce's phone rang. He almost ignored it but since it was from Tony, he answered and raised the phone to his eye.
"Hello?"
"Bruce, it's Nat," came Tony's urgent voice through the device.
"What?"
"She's in hospital, she's asking for you."
"For me? But we had a fight?"
"And so did she and now she's asking for you in hospital so just get over here!" he exclaimed.
"Okay, okay," said Bruce while grabbing his jackets and fumbling to get his shoes on. "I'm on my way over." He pulled the car keys from another jacket's pocket before rushing out of the front door, quickly locking the door behind him.

"Nat? Nat, what happened?" asked Bruce as he rushed into the room, he was panicking but trying to keep calm to prevent a disaster from occuring.
"I got stabbed in the shoulder, it's nothing," she said casually, brushing it off.
"What? How? Of course it's something!" He pulled over a chair and sat at her bedside.
"A stupid mugger tried to snatch my phone and stabbed me instead. I knocked him unconscious but someone was watching," she explained. "It's something else..."
"What is it?" asked Bruce as he took her hands into his own.
"Remember how I thought I couldn't have children...?" Bruce nodded with a furrowed brow. "I'm pregnant." Bruce wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, careful not to touch her injured shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Nat, I'm sorry for arguing."
"I am too," she said. "And it's a girl."

The dark-haired, small girl cried as he parents were busy doing other things. Her mother was on the phone, angrily shouted at the unfortunate person on the other end while Bruce tried to make the baby food.
"This isn't happening," Bruce muttered to himself while staring at the baby bottle and formula.
"Mama! Daddy!" called out the cute, high-pitched voice. Both parents froze and turned to their daughter. Abandoning the formula, Bruce picked up their little girl and smiled.
"You spoke!" he exclaimed. She nodded and Nat hung up on the Shield agent on the other end. Nat put the phone on the table and smiled at her daughter.
"You're such a wonderful daughter."
"Yay!" She giggled and waved her arms around making both parents smile wider.
