Bilbo ran up to Thorin and the dwarves. You followed, eager to stop a massacre.
"Thorin, you need to leave right now!" Bilbo exclaimed.
"Bilbo, if we take out Azog and Bolg, they won't have any leaders." As you looked around, you felt like something was missing. Or someone.
"Thorin, where's Fili? And Kili?"
"Scout the tower," he replied.
"Are you stupid?" You exclaimed. "Thorin! They're your nephews!" You sheathed your sword and grabbed the crossbow off your back. You began loading it and aimed at the tower.

“Find Fili and Kili! Call them back!” ordered Thorin, making you smile a little.
“Thorin, are you sure about this?” asked Dwalin. Thorin nodded.
“Do it. We live to fight another day.” Dwalin nodded and turned towards the tower where you were still watching the top of it. Drums echoed around them and a light appeared where you were looking.

Azog strode to the edge of the tower. He dragged Fili who was bloodied and bruised. His cheek was slightly swollen and his lip was bleeding.
"This one dies first," declared Azog. "Then the brother."
"Bilbo," you whisphered, barely turning your head. "Wait at the bottom to catch him."

Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Bilbo slip a gold ring on his finger and then disappear.
So that's how he was doing it, you thought. But then you turned your attention back to the Orc you desperately wanted dead for harming the one you loved.

"Then you, Oakenshield. You will die last."
“No! Run!” yelled Fili as he was held over the edge by the back of his neck.
"Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu! (Axes of the Dwarves! The dwarves are upon you!)" You yelled. Fili had shouted it you back when the Company were fighing goblins under the Misty Mountains. When you asked him what it meant, he explained it and he taught it to you.

Sure of your aim, you fired the crossbow and it pierced Azog's arm and released Fili from his grip. At the bottom of the tower, Bilbo and Dwalin caught Fili as well as they could. None of you had noticed Kili sneak out of the tower and he had picked up a bow. His arrow pierced Azog's skull causing the Orcs to retreat back into the tower.

"Fili!" You said as you abandoned the crossbow and fell to your knees beside him.
"We need to get him somewhere safe," ordered Thorin.
"Uncle, I can fight!" he protested. You kissed his cheek.
"Fili, we need to to survive. I need you to survive," you whispered. "I love you."
"I love you too, (Y/n)." Thorin looked at the two of you.
"Kili, Dwalin, get them both back to Erebor safely. Bilbo, stick with me."

The battle would continue but Fili would be safe inside the walls of Erebor with you tending to his wounds with your limited healing knowledge.

This is for MysteriousAngel2. I based it off the movie version since I struggled with basing it off the book which I hope you don't mind. I hope you liked it. :)
