chapter 21: The truth about the fire

I woke up and saw that Zoey was no where to be found, but another note was on the night stand.

Note: good morning my love I went to see my brother I will be back around 5pm try not to get I to to much trouble.

At the bottom of The note was here signature. "Hmm..." I said as I began to yawn and got out of my bed and entered the bathroom. I took a shower cleaned myself and then took a towel and dried myself off, I then looked in the mirror and saw the scar from where the plank of wood stabbed threw my shoulder when I tried to save Sofia, I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist. "If only I was stronger..." I said as blood began to fall from my clenched fist. "Why couldn't I have this power then!" I screamed as I punched the cement floor cause the cement to crack leaving a indent of my fist. I stood up straight and washed my hand off and wrapped it up and took one last look at the scars that filled my body.

Once dressed I brushed my teeth and spit out the tooth paste and looked back in the mirror to see the figure from my episode last night in the living room. "Does Sofia's death anger you..." He asked. I stared at him without an answer. "Hmmm what if I told you the fire wasn't a accident..." He said with a smile. I turned around and looked at him with a stare that screamed death. "What..." I said with a dark voice. "The fire was not an accident" he repeated. I grabbed his shirt and pinned him to the wall "WHO DID IT!!!!" I screamed punching a whole in the wall next to his head. "The vice president of your company did." He said with a slight chuckle. "What WHY!" I yelled. "Think about it my dear Orcus you were given one of the most profitable company in the world. And gave up you position to a nobody security guard." He spoke, as I listen and pieced it all together as I start to let him go, "and as the vice president he would of been given a heavy pay check if he had been given Davids position. But you stopped that and so he invited David to your house so that he could kill you and David at the same time making it look like a accident." He concluded with a evil smirk. "...so greed is the reason Sofia is dead..." I said in disbelief as the story pieced together perfectly.

"Sofia died because one mans selfish intentions!!!!!" I screamed as the lights flicked and my veins turned black and my eyes became gray. "AAAGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as my body began to pulse and hatred filled my heart, the figure smirks and walked backwards threw the wall disappearing. I started to breath heavily and the only thing I could think of was ripping that horrid man limb from limb. Then a nock on the front door I tried yo calm down as I walked to the door. I took a deep breath and manage to make my appearance return to normal and opened the door. The police were standing there in the opening "sir we have got a call saying there was loud noises and once we got hear we heard screaming is everything alright?" I looked at them with pain in my eyes yes everything's fine I just am morning sorry..." I said with a sore voice and a obvious sound that I was in pain. "Alright but would it be ok if we looked around just to make sure?" They asked. "Sure go ahead" I said standing to the side allowing them to look around. After they finished looking they stopped in front of me. "Alright sir sorry for your loose we hope you will be ok and we pray for you lost loved ones" they said humbly. "Thank you have a safe day..."

Once they left I tried to clear my head and think. I went to the garage and saw a car and black crouch rocket with a neon green skull on the right side of the gas tank. "I am going to find out who this bastard is..." I thought as I started up the bike and quickly drove out of the garage. I headed to the company and watched as the people gasped as they saw me walking threw the lobby. "Good morning mister Atan" hundreds of people said. "My name is Orcus" I said correcting them. I walked threw the lobby to the elevator and headed to Davids office.

Locked the door. "What up Orcus why did you do that?" David asked confused. "Who is the vice president..." I said bitterly. "What?" He asked even more confused. "WHO IS THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THIS FUCKING COMPANY!!!!" I screamed slamming my hand on the desk cracking it slightly. "Its Martin! Martin Benjamin." He said reluctantly. I growl and opened Davids laptop. "Show me his records" I demanded. "Tell me why first" he said refusing. "He tried yo kill us! He set the fire and he's why Sofia is dead!" I screamed. David shocked at the news asks "why would he do that". "Because he wanted you position in the company he did it because he was g
Selfish!" I said angered. "I'm going to make him pay!" David thought about Sofia and how she was like a sister to him and sighed pulling up Martins file. "How are you going to do it?" He asked hesitantly. "I'm going to kill him..." I said walking away. "Orcus!" David said. I stopped to listen "make it slow and painful..." He said sitting back at his desk. "I planned on it" I left the building and returned to the Burnes down building where my house used to be and then I went to Sofia's grave.

"I will kill him I promise..." I spoke softly talking to Sofia's grave. "His selfish motives will only be rewarded with pain And suffering... I swear it.." Suddenly I heard a voices. "Orcus? Orcus is that you it's me martin how are you" I turned to see martin with a bunch of publishers and photographers.
