He smiled down at Mina.

H-he's Seungcheol's dad?

Mina was struck in awe. Seungcheol's father was handsome, and business-like.

He's the man of every girl's dream!

Ryu was also gaping at the man in front of them.

His black hair was slicked back, and he had a friendly smile bestowed upon his handsome face. He was wearing a tuxedo, that seemed like it never had a crease before.

The other boys seemed slightly frightened, as they kept quiet. All of them had their hands clasped tightly behind their backs, and they were looking at the ground.

Only Seungcheol was standing beside Mina, fearlessly staring up into his father's eyes.

"This is your girlfriend, son?" His voice was husky too.

"He's a hottie." Ryu whispered, as softly as she could, as she leaned in next to Mina's ears.

"I know." Mina whispered back.

"Yes, dad. She's my girlfriend." Seungcheol said with confidence. Mina casted a side way glance at Ryu.

She was smiling, but being her friend for sixteen years, Mina knew it was hurting her.

I'm sorry, Ryu.

Seungcheol's father eye-smiled, and held a hand out to Mina, "I'm Seungcheol's dad. Your name?"

"Ji Mina, sir." Mina shook his hand, slightly nervous.

Seungcheol's father raised an eyebrow, as he mumbled something quietly under his breath.

Then, he turned to Ryu, and shook her hand too, "And you are?"

Ryu grinned, "I am Kim Ra Young, sir. But please call me Ryu."

"Ryu. Hmm. Okay, it's good to meet the two of you." Seungcheol's dad smiled.

Standing up straight, he clasped his hands in front of him, and turned to the other boys, "Why are all of you so quiet?"

Woozi glanced at Mina, then back at him, "It's nothing, sir."

Seungcheol's father gave a small smile, then said, "I'm going to my room. I need to rest because of jet lag. You kids can go and do whatever teenagers do these days."

Turning to his wife who had been quiet from the start, he held out his arm to her.

Seungcheol's mother linked her arm with his, and the both of them left the room.

But Mina caught his mother glancing at her several times, worry etched on her face.

As soon as the pair was out of the room, the tension disappeared.
