Author's Note: Hello everyone! I know I'm not too far in yet, but I hope everyone is enjoying the sequel so far. I tried making the first chapter longer, and it's probably one of the longer chapters I've done throughout this series so far. Again, I do not plan on having any sort of consistency with my chapter lengths; they will end when I feel it is a good spot for them to be ended :) Also, I know the first chapters have been sort of slow, but things should start picking up soon! Please remember to vote and to add this book to your library, as well as recommend to friends. I love you all! xoxo

I rolled over the next morning and felt Mabel pressed tightly against me. She groaned as I bumped into her. I pecked at her lips, and she fell into it immediately, kissing me back even though she was still practically asleep. I pulled away and tried to push myself up in bed, but Mabel wouldn't have it. She tried pulling me back down next to her.

"Dipper. Cuddle!" She whined. I giggled as I swept back her bangs and kissed the top of her forehead.

"No, babe. I can't. We've got things to do today."

"Yeah, like cuddling," Mabel groaned into her pillow. I lied down next to her and pulled her back in close, cradling her.

"No, I thought we would go for a little drive north. Check out Lantern River a bit...see if it's a possibility for our new home?" I whispered. Mabel nodded her head in agreement.

"But just a little more cuddles first?" She asked.

"Just a few more cuddles first. I promise," I replied, snuggling her close as I pulled the comforter over us.
