'Wake up'

~Ashley's POV~

All I know is everything went black. There was no bright light, no fade out, no blurry vision. Just BAM ... darkness. I have no idea what in the hell just happened but I'm mad. I was just about to kiss Ethan for Christs sake! What the fuck!

Beep. Beep. Beep.

That's all I could hear as the light flooded back into my vision. It was so bright.

"Turn off the light please," I mumbled, putting my hands over my eyes. 

I heard a few gasps and a moment later the lights went off. Turns out it was just the sunlightpeeking through the windows.

When I opened my eyes I saw my family, even Justin was there. I saw Emily and Grayson and Coach Brooks. I was only looking for one person though. I started to panic when I couldn't find him.

"Sweetie," I heard my mom whisper. She was crying, along with almost everyone else.

My eyes continued to roam around until at last, they landed on him. 

I emediatly threw the covers off of myself, gaining gasps from everyone in the room.

My dad rushed over to me. "Honey, calm down."

I sat up in my bed and stopped moving. It was so high up that my feet didn't touch the ground, not even close. I tried to think of any reason why I'd be in the hospital.

*flashback*

When I got home I quietly slipped past everyone in the living room. I felt Breny watching me but I was too upset to turn around. I made my way up the stairs and dropped my bag beside my door.

I plugged my phone into my charger. I watched as the screen lit up, letting me know it was charging. I saw my lockscreen, a picture of Ethan and I. I emediatly burst into tears. I tried to quiet my sobs but it didn't work out so well. I tried to walk over and close my door but I couldn't move. I collapsed onto my bed. I was shaking so hard.

A few minutes passed and I hadn't calmed down one bit. Within seconds everything went dark. I don't know if I finally calmed down or if I just cried myself to sleep.

*end off flashback*

Everything went black... Everything went black... I had a mental break down. I've been in a coma. This little shit put me in a coma!

I looked up at Ethan. He had so much hurt in his eyes, so much pain. He looked like he hadn't slept in weeks judging by the dark circles under his eyes. My body started to shake as I jumped off the bed and ran over to him.

I stopped right in front of him and looked him in the eyes. I never thought I'd do what I did next.

I slapped him.

I backed away from him and looked at everyone. They were shocked.

"I don't know how long I've been in that coma for and frankly I don't care. I know exactly what happened so don't try explaining some technical stuff to me because I'm not falling for it. I had a mental breakdown because this douche bag," I paused, pointing at Ethan. "Literally broke my heart... But it's okay."

Ethans expression changed. I just said it was okay.

"I couldn't have been asleep that long. I only dreampt two days, and do you know what happened in those two days?" I asked quietly, fully turning towards him.
