Chapter 4: Next lessons

Lapis' P.O.V

English was a drag. I was so glad it was finally over. I made my way to next lesson, I.C.T. It was break at the moment but i made my way to my next lesson anyway.

I came across Peridot, her time table in her hands. She was standing in the hallway looking like a lost puppy.

I let out an 'awww', and decided to help her.

Peridots P.O.V

First lesson had come to an end, I agreed that I would go to my second lesson and skip break.

I held out my timetable. It read:
' I.C.T
Mrs. Y.D
Room: C8'

I sighed looking for classroom C8. It was no where to be seen.

I took another look around me and I suddenly notice Lapis walk towards me. I blushed, i could feel butterflies begin to flutter in my stomach.

"Hey Peridot, you okay?"

"Uh, yeah I'm just looking for classroom C8..." I sound so awkward right now.

"Wait... Did you say C8?" She's looking surprised.

"Yeah..." I looked down at my feet suddenly feeling embarrassed for repeating myself.

"You have I.C.T?" I was blushing from ear to ear now.

"Hmm, hmm." I was still looking at my feet.

"Oh, cool so do I. We could walk together if you like?" My eyes shot up to meet hers.

I smiled. "Yeah, that'd be great."

(Still Peridots P.O.V)

We walked to class together, and was now sitting at the computer desks. Me and Lapis were the first two, to had arrived.

Our teacher let us in early. Her name being Yellow Diamond. Strange name I reckon. I shrugged it off and she gave me my username and password for the computer.

After I logged on, Lapis informed me about what they had already been doing in I.C.T. At the moment, they are creating a short animation movie about E-safety.

"Peice of cake." I said, while stretching my fingers. She raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, really? So you have done something like this before?"

"Indeed i have." I said smiling to myself. Remembering my short movies i made at home.

She laughed at me and lightly punched my arm.

The lesson began and we cracked on with our work. I managed to had done most of my work by the end of the lesson which surprised Lapis.

"So what do you have next?" I asked, we were making our way out of the classroom.

"I have science with Mr Ronald."

"I apparently have Mr Dewy..." She gave me an 'O' face. Followed by a long pause.

"...Are you in the top classes for everything?" She sounded a little hurt.

"Im not sure.." I looked down at my feet again, feeling dumb for being smart.

"So uh, Mr Dewy ay? He's right next door to my class, i'll walk you there, if that's okay?"

"Okay." A smile reappeared upon my face.

We shared a quick smile before walking down the noise hallway. But to be honest it just felt like it was only me and Lapis.
