"Amethyst?" Called Pearl as she swam towards the empty part of the lake. There was no sign of Amethyst which made Pearl begin to worry.
"Got ya!" Yelled Amethyst while hugging the pale woman from behind.
"Oh Amethyst! Get off me!"
"Ow c'mon P, I know you like it~" Flirted Amethyst, which cauaed Pearls face to turn bright red.
"All right that's enough you two, don't forget that Steven's here." Shouted Garnet.
"Yeah! I would like this camping trip to be under PG13 please. None of that too romantic stuff."
Pearl and Amethyst shared a glance before Amethyst splashed Pearl with water.
"Amethyst I'm going to get you!" Said Pearl as she began to swim after Amethyst.
Garnet smiled and shook her head. Te two will always be the same. Lapis on the other hand was playing with Steven. Although she couldn't help but wonder why Peridot was taking so long.
Where is that cute blonde? Thought the bluenette.
"Alright guys I'm going to go and start cooking dinner." Said Garnet as she jumped out of the lake and towards her tent. Possibly to change her clothes and to dry herself off.
*MeanWhile*
Peridot wasn't sure if she should tell the others about this or not. Thoughts crossed her mind at what would happen. While she was running back to her campsite she stopped as she saw Garnet sitting by the campfire who she assumed was cooking meat. Garnet was wearing a white tank top and some camouflage trousers, to be honest she looked as if she had won the war.
"Uhm- Why aren't you with the others?" Asked Peridot worriedly.
"I was. But now I'm here cooking dinner." Said Garnet blankly.
"Right... Well, uhm... Jasper is here!" Exclaimed Peridot who was lost for words.
"I know." Was all Garnet said. This made Peridot confused.
"What?!" Peridot was extremely confused. Garnet knew and didn't tell anyone?!
"I said I know. They have been trying to scare us for the past few days." She said while poking the chicken with a stick.
"And you didn't tell anyone?!" Garnet fixed her glasses and smiled.
"I knew you'd find out eventually."
"I don't under-" Peridot felt more confused than ever, but she was cut off.
"I was also waiting for the perfect night." Smirked Garnet.
"What do you mean?" Peridot asked while fumbling with her fingers.
"Amethyst brought a lot of pranks with her, Pearl didn't think it was necessary but I knew this would happen." Garnet paused. "So tomorrow night, we scare the beast!" She shouted while standing up for dramatic affect.
A/N: I have some good ideas on how they can scare them. I wrote this a while ago I just forgot to upload it, woops. Sorry guys.
