Chapter 6: One week alone

Peridots P.O.V

School had finally finished and I was walking home, alone. Me and Lapis had different classes for fifth period so we said our goodbyes at at the end of fourth period.

I learnt so much about her during lunch time in her secret hideaway. We talked for the rest of lunch, and she gave me half her sandwich. I was ment to of had lunch at the cafeteria, but the incident with Jasper happened. Speaking of Jasper, Lapis now has a bruise on her face because of her. Lapis said that Jasper will start picking on me too. To be honest I'm alittle afraid of Jasper.

I shook my head to clear my thoughts.

When i got home, my mother and father were no where in sight, or heard. I walked into the kitchen, dropping my bag on the floor in the process.

Dear Peri,
You're father and I have gone out for the week. We have gone on a little vacation to France. Don't worry we'll be back next Monday, a week from now. There should be plenty of food for you, and the bills have been paid. Just in case you need food we left £60 for you to spend if necessary.
We love you Peri, love mam and dad.

I put the note in the bin and let out a quich, 'yay'. I was so glad mother and father had gone out for a week, that means i have the whole house to myself.

My excitement came to an end when I remembered the weekend.... I'll be all alone for two days. Wait a second, I could ask a friend to come over. Oh wait i dont have any...

I slapped my head. What am I thinking? I have a friend. I'll ask Lapis if she wants to sleepover!
