Chapter 7: Gym class

Peridots P.O.V

My stupid excuse for an alarm clock didn't wake me up this morning, so i literally had to rush to get ready.

I quickly got changed into some jeans and a green top, i put the same jacket i was wearing yesterday over my t-shirt and rapidly put my trainers on.

I ran to the bathroom to do my business and brushed my teeth within a  minute. I was about to leave until I remembered i had gym today. In a hurry i ran upstairs to grab my gym kit.
Within 5 minutes left, i grabbed my bag and shove my kit in it. I began to ran to school. I didn't have time for breakfast or a shower. So I probably smelt and I was feeling quite hungry.

I stopped to put some deodorant on and quickly began running again, this time in a slower manner. I stopped at a local shop to get some food for lunchtime since i forgot to make sandwiches.

When I finally arrived at my registration class, everyone was already there.

"Peridot why are you late?" Mrs Quartz asked me. I could feel the eyes of everyone in the room on me.

"My alarm clock didn't go off." I said while sitting down next to Lapis.

"Fair enough." The teacher began but soon after she started to talk about homework again.

After registration was over me and Lapis made our way to first period. We both had P.E, (physical education, or as other people call it, gym).

Lapis told me that Jasper wouldn't be there. I let out a sigh of relief but then gulped hoping Jasper had forgotten about yesterday.

Me and Lapis arrived at gym class. The teacher was waiting outside the changing rooms waiting for us. The other girls were already there.

She unlocked the door and everyone ran inside. "Get changed girls," she shouted, she then closed the door and waited outside.

Everyone had found a spot to place their things. I noticed Lapis in the corner of the room. I walked over to her and put my bag on the peg.

I blushed, everyone was stripping their clothes off. This is not what i was expecting! Where are the individual changing cubicals?!

"Hey Peridot you okay? You don't look so hot?" I looked over at Lapis she was topless, the only thing covering her breasts was her bra.

My cheeks flushed a darker red, and i felt like i was about to have a nosebleed. I turned around and ran into the changing room toilets.

"Calm down Peridot. Calm down." I mumbled under my breath. "It was just Lapis topless that's all." I breathed.

I had managed to had stopped my nosebleed by now and had splashed my face with water multiple of times.

"Peridot?" Oh no, it's Lapis!

"You okay in there?" She asked through the door.

I let out a deep breath and opened the door, infront of me was Lapis wearing a white top and black shorts. I swallowed. Hard.

"I-I'm f-ffine Lapis." I managed to say. Everyone was changed and now was outside on the field except me and Lapis.

Lapis' P.O.V

Peridot was acting strange. She ran off not so long ago to the toilet as if she was about to shit herself.

When she came out, she was as red as a strawberry. Everyone had left to join Miss on the field. Peridot however was only now about to get changed.

"Do you mind turning around?" She asked nervously. I flushed pink, realising i had been staring at her.

While Peridot was getting changed I couldn't help but take a few glimpses at her body.

You perv. Stop that. I thought.

When Peridot had finished she looked so cute and innocent. I smiled at her.

Oh god I have a crush on her don't I?

Me and Peridot made our way to the field for a game of Netball. No one dared to speak.

****Timeskip to lunchtime****

Peridots P.O.V

Me and Lapis made our way to the abandoned classroom, and sat down to eat our lunch. We began talking about classes but the conversation died out.

This is a perfect time to ask her about this weekend. I know, I'll ask if she wants to stay over this weekend by text!

"Lapis, can i have your phone number?"

"Sure." She ripped a peice of paper out of her notebook and scribbled down some numbers. I smiled at myself.
