Peridots P.O.V
I slowly woke up from the light shining through my window. I took a glance at my alarm clock. It read 7:56. I guess I can sleep for an extra 30 minutes..? My eyes closed and I tried to turn over, expecting to feel Lapis next to me. However I couldn't feel anything besides the sheets. I began to panic and opened my eyes quickly. Lapis wasn't in my room. I bit my lip. So much for an extra 30 minutes of sleep...
"Lapis?" I called. The only response I had were footsteps.
"Oh, hey Peridot! You're awake. I decided to make some breakfast, hope you don't mind."
"Not at all." My guest made me breakfast?
"If you hurry you can eat it while it's warm." She said while turning around to head back down stairs.
I'm glad i have a friend like her.
