Harry trudged through the door after a long day and kicked off his shoes. He walked in the living room and plopped down on the couch. He hadn't been feeling that well the last few days. He had a horrible cough that wouldn't go away and he was starting to get a sore throat. He was congested and tired and he just wanted to sleep. Louis had agreed to come over and stay with him since he was feeling so poorly. Harry coughed in his arm and felt his chest rattle. He sighed and closed his eyes waiting for Louis to get there.

Louis unlocked the front door and walked in with a bag of groceries he had picked up for Harry. He put the bag on the kitchen counter and walked into the living room to find Harry asleep on the couch. He smiled a little and shook him gently.

"Hazza," Louis whispered. Harry opened his eyes and looked up at Louis. "Hey mate," Louis whispered. Harry sat up and immediately started coughing. "Aww Haz, that sounds worse than it did yesterday." Harry nodded.

"I feel worse too," Harry admitted.

"Poor thing," Louis cooed. "I brought some stuff here. I got stuff to make soup later, and something for your cough."

"Thanks Lou." Harry coughed again, wincing in pain as his throat burned. Louis ran his fingers through Harry's curly hair.

"How about I get you some of that now?" Louis asked. Harry nodded. Louis got up and grabbed the bag of cough drops that he had got for Harry and brought them back over to him. "Here Haz." Louis handed him the bag of cough drops and Harry popped on into his mouth. "Haz I think if you're getting worse maybe we should go to the doctor," Louis proposed gently.

"No," Harry snapped. "It's just a cold. I'll be fine." Louis sighed. Harry wasn't too fond of going to the doctor and Louis knew that. Every time Harry would cough Louis could hear his chest rattle which worried him a great deal.

"Promise me if you feel worse tomorrow you'll let me take you to the doctor. Please Harry," Louis begged. Harry sighed and looked over at him.

"If I feel worse tomorrow. Fine," he agreed. Louis smiled to himself.

"Thank you Harry." Harry coughed again which caused his throat to burn. He groaned in pain and put his hand on his throat. Louis put his hand on Harry's back. "Alright?" he asked.

"My throat hurts. Every time I cough it hurts like hell," Harry explained.

"How bout some soup? That might help your throat a bit." Harry nodded. "Alright," Louis whispered. He got up and grabbed one of the cans of soup he bought from the kitchen and poured it into a bowl and popped it in the microwave. He sighed when he heard Harry coughing in the living room. He was really worried. Harry's cough was getting worse and he had had it for days. The microwave beeped and Louis got the bowl out of the microwave and took it back to Harry.

"Thanks Lou," Harry groaned taking the bowl from him.

"You gonna be alright?" Louis asked stroking back Harry's hair.

"I'm alright. Thanks for staying with me," Harry smiled looking over at him. Louis blushed a little and looked at the floor.

"Of course Hazza," he replied. They spent the rest of the night watching movies and alternating between cough medicine and cough drops but nothing was soothing Harry's cough. Louis could tell it was getting worse just from the time he had been there.

"I'm tired Lou, can we go to bed?" Harry asked struggling to keep his eyes open.

"Course." Louis took Harry upstairs and into his room and got him into bed. He had planned on crashing on the couch but Harry stopped him.

"Wait." Louis stopped in the doorway. "Will you say?" Harry blushed. Louis felt his face get hot and could stop a smile from forming.

"Yeah, course," he whispered. He slowly got into bed with Harry and Harry cuddled in close to him.

"I don't want to be alone," Harry explained quietly. Louis wrapped his arms around the younger male and rubbed up and down his back.

"I won't leave," Louis whispered. Harry fell asleep shortly after that. His body was exhausted. Louis sighed with a smiled and shortly followed him. Harry woke up in the middle of the night in a coughing fit. Louis shot up right away.

"Lou," Harry gasped for air.

"Shh, shh. It's ok. Calm down, you're alright," Louis soothed. Harry couldn't stop coughing. As he tried to catch his breath he would choke and cough more. Thinking quickly Louis grabbed the bottle of water on the night stand. "Sip it slowly," he instructed. Harry did as he said and was able to get his cough under control. He put the water back down and shut his eyes tightly.

"Lou," he murmured.

"What's wrong Haz?" he asked.

"Dizzy," he simply stated. Louis pulled him into his chest and held him protectively.

"Just breathe. I've got you," he whispered. Louis took long deep breaths which Harry mimicked. He calmed down and pulled away from Louis.

"I'm sorry," he muttered shyly.

"Hey, it's alright. That's why I'm here. Let me get you some more cough medicine." Louis got up and quickly went down the stairs and grabbed Harry's medicine. He brought it back up to him and gave him some.

"Thank you," he sighed apologetically. Louis got back into bed and pulled him back down. Harry rested his head on Louis chest.

"I'm taking you to the doctor tomorrow Harry," Louis informed him sternly.

"Alright," Harry agreed.

"You're ok now, rest," Louis soothed. Harry took a deep breath and fell back to sleep.

The next morning Harry was no better. In fact he was worse. He coughed and sputtered more then he talked. He was weak and tired and didn't even want to leave his bed. Louis made him an appointment for later that day and helped Harry get around and ready. He drove him to the doctor's where he was looked over and tested.

"Bronchitis," The doctor informed them. "He's going to need to take some antibiotics to get rid of the infection. I'll write up a prescription for him. I'll also write up something to soothe his cough a bit," She explained.

"Thank you so much," Louis exclaimed shaking her hand.

"Get some rest Mr. Styles," The doctor said handing Louis the script. Harry smiled and nodded. Louis went right away to get the prescriptions filled and took Harry home.

"You gonna be ok?" Louis asked. Harry nodded.

"Alright," Louis sighed. He started to walk away waiting for Harry to stop him.

"Louis wait," Harry called. "Will you stay? Just a bit longer until I'm back on my feet?" Harry blushed. Louis smiled.

"I was afraid you wouldn't ask." Louis sat down next to Harry and they turned on a movie. Louis didn't leave Harry's side until he was feeling better and back to his normal self.
