"Louis I think this is a bit more than an upset stomach," Niall said bluntly as he sat with Louis in the very small bathroom of the bus.
"I'm fine," Louis lied. Niall rolled his eyes not even bothering to argue with him. Louis had been off all day. He wasn't one to complain so he often downplayed his illnesses and the other boys knew that.
"Maybe I should call Liam or Harry?" Niall questioned putting his hand on his friend's back. Louis shook his head but didn't say anything. He feared opening his mouth would lead to an unwelcome visit from his stomach contents. "Lou, you're burning up. You've clearly got a fever. This is a bit more than just lunch not agreeing with you," Niall persisted. Louis turned his head over the toilet and let out a low moan.
"Maybe you're right," Louis admitted.
"Finally!" Niall sighed with relief.
"Don't rub it in blondie," Louis growled. Niall smiled to himself and rubbed Louis's back.
"You'll be fine, just relax," Niall told him softly. Louis groaned putting his hand on his stomach.
"It hurts so much," he groaned.
"I know Louis, maybe if you throw up you'll feel better." Louis shuttered at the thought of throwing up. Though he knew Niall was probably right. His stomach was in knots but the nausea he had originally come into the bathroom for was fading.
"I don't think I need to throw up anymore," Louis said slowly looking back at Niall. Niall's eyes softened looking down at his friend. It was clear he was not feeling well.
"We can go lay down out front for a bit. I bet Liam has some medicine." Louis nodded not bothering to fight him on this. Niall helped Louis stand and led him out to the front of the bus where Harry and Liam were.
"Where have you two been?" Harry asked over his shoulder not looking back at them. Liam did turn to look and knew something was wrong. He stood up to give away his seat to Louis.
"Lou isn't feeling so hot," Niall informed them. "Liam do you have any medicine?"
"Yeah I think so. Come with me and tell me what's wrong with him." Niall walked away with Liam giving him the list of ailments Louis had come down with. Harry pulled Louis down to lay across his lay so he could play with his hair.
"Ok Louis?" Harry asked softly. Louis shook his head.
"Belly hurts," he sighed. Harry scratched Louis's scalp with his nails and Louis sighed and shut his eyes.
"Did you throw up earlier with Niall?" Harry asked. Louis shook his head.
"Thought I was going to but I never did," he explained.
"Poor thing," Harry teased. Louis could almost hear the smirk on Harry's face. He couldn't help but smile a little.
"Just keep doing that," Louis sighed.
"No problem Lou." They heard the footsteps of Liam and Niall coming back into the room.
"Lou," Liam said softly. Louis opened one eye to look at him. "Got some meds for you. think you can sit up?" He reluctantly sat up leaving Harry's comfort behind him. Liam handed Louis the pills and Louis downed them without a second thought. He took a quick drink of water before laying back down with Harry.
"Can we just watch a movie or something?" Louis asked.
"Course," Liam agreed sitting down. They shuffled through Netflix until finding something to watch. Harry resumed playing with Louis's hair and Louis found himself falling asleep.
Sometime later the boys seemed to notice Louis had fallen asleep. Liam looked over at him and Harry than back at Niall.
"Looks like Harry put him to sleep," Liam whispered. Niall looked over at them.
"Harry's really good at that. Last time I was sick he did the same thing to me and I was out cold." Liam nodded.
"Hazza," Liam whisper yelled. Harry looked up at them. "He ok?" Harry looked down at him and nodded. Liam gave him a quick thumbs up before going back to the movie.
The boys had finished the first movie and were half way through the second one when Louis woke up. His stomach was doing flips, threatening to send up what was inside. He groaned a little placing his hand on his stomach. Harry looked down at him noticing his discomfort.
"Ok Louis?" he asked. Louis didn't answer. He feared opening his mouth would trigger the reappearance of his lunch. "Lou?" Harry asked again running his fingers through his hair. Louis's mouth started to pool with saliva and a sticky sweat broke out across his face. Without thinking twice Louis slapped his hand over his mouth and jumped up off the couch and made a dash for the bathroom. The other three boys quickly got up and followed close behind. Louis crashed down on his knees lifting the toilet seat up just in time to gag over it. Harry was the first to come into the bathroom. He crouched down behind Louis and rubbed up and down his back.
"Sorry lads," Louis sighed.
"Don't be sorry Louis. You can't help you're sick," Niall soothed. Louis's stomach rolled up as he violently started to bring up what was inside.
"Aww Lou," Harry sighed. Louis coughed and gagged bringing up more sick. He closed his eyes wishing it would stop. But was caught again retching into the water.
"Nearly there Lou," Liam encouraged. After several minutes, Louis's stomach seemed to calm down. He spit a few times into the water before reaching up to flush away the mess.
"Feeling any better Louis?" Niall asked sweetly. Louis nodded, his voice feeling too raw to speak.
"Let's get you back in bed. You need to rest," Harry instructed. Louis was feeling exhausted after being sick so he didn't argue with them. he willingly went back to the bunks and laid down in bed. His heavy eyes shut almost as soon as his head hit his pillow.
"You going to be ok back here Louis?" Niall asked. Louis nodded again.
"Thanks lads." Louis voice was quiet and weak.
"You yell if you need anything, ok?" Liam asked. Louis nodded. The boys shut off the lights and left Louis to sleep.
Sorry this update was later than I said. the wifi in my house went out. Regardless here is the update. Like I said before I will start take requests but I will pick and chose which ones I want.
