I tune my guitar as I stand on the make shift stage the owner of The Pony Bar (referred to in previous chapters) just finish making 3 hours ago. Given the circumstances, he was practically able to accomplish a miracle. Seriously, the Bartender/Owner was lucky enough to recognize me when I was jogging down the sidewalk attached to his bar that he nearly foamed at the mouth. I had generally average features, so unless you've meet me personally, I can blend with the crowd. That's why a good chunk of society goes by with me being unnoticed.

I tried to bluff the Bartender but the Bouncer made things worse by confirming my identity due to the fact that Logan threatening him with his claws was quote "the scariest day of my m*therf*cking existence."

I had no other option but to concede, which was a golden opportunity to them cause then they were able to book my band which had become the most exclusive thing in New York. The Bouncer and the Bartender turned out to be brothers, they were barely making ends meet as it was and the whole bar was on the verge of closing down/bankruptcy. David and Sara were more than ecstatic to play another gig and Kevin being new was more the eager to step up.

The bar was spacious enough for afew extra table that the Bouncer Brother was setting up. But due to outrageous popular demands the Bar Brothers had to sell tickets just to regulate the number of people who wanted to pour in. I made it clear that I didn't want another incident my band had with a previous client whom ended up selling tickets to see us at $10,000 each. It was so outrageous I became furious and left the venue mid performance.

So the Bar Brothers agreed to bring down the price of tickets to a reasonable $1,000. And with over 250 max tickets sold, the Bartender Brother wants to kiss me for saving their butts. I look up from tuning my guitar with David to look at him clean glass cups, he looks both overjoyed, delighted, and blissful.

He also looks kinda hot....

"Urgh" I groan to myself.

"What's up?" David asked curiously.

"I'm admiring the Bartender," I say nonchalantly.

David glances in his direction and does a one over on him. "You can do better,"

"He's really cute though," I add.

"Still...he's a bartender" he finishes tuning his guitar and straps it over his shoulder. "At least go for the Bouncer, he's at least a little bit taller."

"True," I tune the last string, "But he's just too burly."

"Just stay away from both of them" David says darkly. "We don't want another cheating incident."

"It's not cheating!" I whisper growl.

"Oh yeah, locking lips with someone other than your boyfriend isn't cheating at all." He says with sarcasm dripping from his voice as he walks off the stage.

He doesn't get it...nobody will get it but-

"Hey babe" Kevin comes up from behind me and kisses my cheek. "Why does David look pissed?"

"It's nothing..." I say.

Kevin looks at me cautiously with one eye, then shrugs the whole thing off. "Anyway, you ready to rock this joint!?"

"Hell ya!" I say excitedly.

We finish putting everything in order right as the Bartender Brother opens the doors and hundreds of people crowd into the relatively small bar. I guess it was a pretty smart idea putting the Bouncer Brother as security control in front of the band cause some people would have tried to rip the clothes right off our body. They ran towards us but stop dead in their tracks at the look on his face.
