Life As A Shadow Knight

Chapter 7

What felt like the longest time, I only saw white. White as the snow, white as an angel's wing, white as a pearl. My mind felt hollow and I was shaking from exhaustion. I kept breathing in and out like I had just run all the way across the world. But then again, I had just run all the way across my memories.

I never mentioned this before because I felt no need to, but I was 19 when the Shadow Knights took me and I was at the moment, 20 1/2. So that meant that the memory I had just experienced was 10 and a half years ago.

I completely felt like I just went back in time since I wasn't remembering the moment, rather living in it.

Oddly, it felt good to have a small part of my memory back. It made me feel more complete and like I was reaching towards a different side of myself that I had abandoned when I saw different.

I shook the feeling off. I couldn't betray the Shadow Knights. I had to get through that portal and rid myself of this memory as well as achieve my personality.

Think of... your father. So what if he threw you a birthday party? He betrayed you! He betrayed me! He must PAY! HE WILL PAY BY MY HANDS AND MINE ALONE EVEN IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO IN THIS UNIVERSE!

Instantly my panting turned to growling and my teeth grinded against each other. I was aware that my eyes had gone red and any Shadow Souls lurking in the area would now be more powerful. I was more powerful.

Smirking with satisfaction, I felt a jolt of power surge through me. But let's not gloat on this easy victory. Rather let's go and report Zenix's betrayal.

I calmed myself down and regained my quiet, stealth character. I still saw only white but that was okay. It had given me the chance to regain myself. I knew I was still in front of the portal. It's evil energy must've helped but thank goodness that when you go to the Memory Realm, for you it is awhile depending on how long the memory is but for everyone around you in the Minecraftia Realm, it is just a second.

Blinking slightly, adjusting to the darkness of the room compared to the piercing light that had flooded my eyes just a few moments before, I looked at the nether portal, delighted to be once again in front of it. 

As I was about to step through, I paused and smirked. I had no use for these wolves anymore, I could destroy them myself easy, it'd to the Shadow Knights some good and could be used to calm Gene down once I told him about Zenix.

I crept past the sleeping wolf and ran behind a hill from the wolves and tunneled into it, closing it up with barrier magicks. I wanted to do this in broad daylight, when all the wolves would be awake. Only to find themselves in their worst nightmare.

I watched the sun rise from my cave and knew that it was now time. Stepping forward from the cave and rounded around the hill and froze. A person. A human. The woman looked about my age and had a grim look on her face. No, a concerned one. Concerned? About who? Let me guess, her own safety. She's probably begging these wolves to protect her.

The woman had long, silky black hair that was slightly lighter than mine but was much longer and had bangs that stopped right at her eyes which were a creamy light brown. She wore a purple tank, had pale purple shorts, black knee-high sneakers and wore gray fingerless gloves. 

She was accompanied by a man dressed in a white guard uniform with an emerald shield and emerald sword as well as emerald green eyes. To much bright green if you ask me. I wouldn't have been surprised if he had green hair but instead, he had long orange hair that was pretty messy and unkempt. However it must've been dyed for it stained his forehead in a messy manner, kind of making him look like he had bangs but obviously not.

They were speaking to one of the werewolves. I don't remember their name nor do I care but I watched. This could be useful to me. And indeed it was. As I walked, the man and woman ran into a cave. 

A cave that led to the nether portal.

Say hello to Aphmau and Laurence! This was at the time when they were going to save the Chicken Shaman so yeah :). That is what got in the way. So what do you think will happen? Will Ofelia run in to stop Aphmau and Laurence or will she stay outside and stay trapped in the overworld due to Vylad breaking the portal?
