"Okay, Kae we done?" My dad asks. "Now everything is completely squared away for your party so you don't have to keep making us come for meetings."

"Yes I'ma leave y'all alone now." I said.

I made my Dad, step mom Aleece, my mom, and Dad Ron all come over to our apartment to talk about the extra details for my party since I want it to be perfect.

"Where is this party dress you have been so excited about? Ar', what's up? Where's it at?" My dad asks looking between me and Arie.

"Huh?" I ask.

"That mean we ain't gonna like it which means you ain't fuckin wearing it." Dad Ron said.

"Mommy." I said looking at her for help.

"You grown Kae." She said.

"See. Hmm." I said sticking out my tongue.

"You childish as fuck young girl."

"We invited right, Kae?" My step mom asked.

"We better be." My mom said.

"Um, about that." I said and Arie laughed.

"You got us paying for all this shit you want, but we ain't even invited?" My dad asked.

"No. I love y'all, but y'all are too overprotective and kill vibes. I'ma already have to deal with your club security." I said to Dad Ron. "Man, maybe I shouldn't have planned there."

"Oh shut up extra ass they ain't gonna fuck with you." Dad Ron said.

"You promise?" I ask.

"Young girl, get out my damn face." He said with a laugh.

"Okay, love you and thank you guys again, for everything." I said hugging everybody.

"Where you going after we leave here?" My mom asks.

"Joey's."

"Of course." My dad and Ron tried to mumble.

"Aye, I'm only going to see Corey."

"Give it up already Kae." Arie said with a chuckle.

"Leave me alone Arie." I said walking away from everybody.

"So are we going out tonight or not?" I ask Joey and Jamal.

"I say yeah, it's been forever since we've all been out together." Jamal answered.

"I don't care, whatever y'all wanna do." Joey said. "I'm sure Cortez will come over here after he get off work to stay with Corey."

"Aight." I said texting Arie to let her know the plans since I'm sure her and Michael would be down.

"Kae, Joey said when you popping out that baby?" Jamal said.

"Four or five years." I said.

"Who the fuck wants to wait that long? I'll be damn near 30 by then." Joey said.

"Who said you'll even be the father of my future kids?" I ask.

"Get fucked up Kaelyn." He said.

"Aye, just because you want kids close in age doesn't mean I do right now. Mind you, you're almost done with school. I'm not, I have another two years."

"Not if you double ya hours like I did last year plus summer classes."

"I might after I get past these hard ass science classes, but even if I finish early that still doesn't mean anything."
