>>fourth year<<

Back to Hogwarts. My second home. I was so glad to be back. Except for one thing, Draco. Since we're both in the same house I see him a lot and it's not particularly fun for me. He has a lot of fun taunting me and I have no idea why.

Since Draco's often hanging out around me, people are too scared to be my friend.
Ever since first year Draco's been hanging around me. I guess that's just because we have mutual friends.

Daphne Greengrass and I are partners in potions and we still share a dorm so she's the closest to a friend I have.

Isaac and I boarded the train together but Isaac went to the Gryffindors part of it and I headed towards the Slytherins part trying to find an empty compartment. When someone suddenly grabbed my hand and dragged me into theirs.

"hello, Selena" a voice that I recognised said.

"Why have you brought me here?" I ask him wondering if I should let go of his hand..

"Just wanted to see my favorite girl,"

I looked around the compartment and I realized that we were alone. I sat down on a seat as far away from Draco as possible, trying to act frustrated when actually I was quite happy to see him.
Even if he's constantly being a pain in the ass when we hang out he's one of my closest friends, that I hang out with all the freaking time.
So of course I am at least a little happy to see him.

"C'mon Selena, sit a little closer," he spoke jokingly while smiling

I shook my head.
He walked over and sat down next to me, but I scoot as far back as possible. What is this boy doing?

Draco stared at me straight in the eyes.
His were a beautiful shade of grey and I remember the first time I saw them. Back in Diagon Alley when I ran into him shopping for school supplies. Dracos eyes looked down at my lips and stayed there for a moment, maybe a little to long to be honest, then he looked in my eyes again. He took ahold of my legs and laid both of them on top of his lap. He had one of his arms behind me and the other was firmly placed on my knee. Just as he was about to open his mouth and say something. The compartment door flew open.

"Hand's off my sister!" A menacing voice growled at Draco.

No, It was Jaxon.

Jaxon has anger issues I swear. He's very protective of Rae and I. Even though Draco wasn't doing anything, he should be scared and by the look on his face, he was.

Draco quickly got up and walked out the compartment and left me flustered and alone with a very angry Jaxon.

"What was he doing?" Jaxon questioned.

"I don't know, we were just talking. Maybe he was trying to seduce me," I answered simply shrugging my shoulders.

"Well don't let him do that again or I'll kill him!" And with that Jaxon walked off. Phew. Even thought Draco was arrogant, rude and a brat he doesn't deserve to die. No one does.

After sitting alone in the compartment for awhile, I decided to go looking for Isaac and his friends. That was better than sitting alone in here for much longer.

When I finally found them. Harry, Ron and Hermione told us about what happened at the Quiddicth World Cup.
Voldemort is one scary dude.
But I know he can't harm my family, my grandfather and grandmother were once very good servants to him.

The train finally arrived at Hogwarts and as soon as I went to get on a carriage, Draco grabbed me and dragged me to his. Wow this boy doesn't quit.

Did he not remember what Jaxon did before? If he saw us now-.

"Hello, Selena," he smiled.

I just rolled my eyes. I can't be bothered dealing with rubbish right now.
All Draco does is take me away from all my friends. He acts like an overprotective boyfriend. Which is something I don't want to think about.

We sat quiet in the carriage for quite some time but I didn't mind. I have always adored the surrounding around Hogwarts and the way up to the castle from the train was really beautiful. It's dark but it's there. I could hear creatures moving in the woods and the slight wind move the tree tops. Draco had his arm resting behind me.

"Well Selena, did your parents tell you anything before you left?" Draco asked casually looking down at me. Even sitting down Draco was still at least a head taller than me.

"No and even if they did I don't listen to conversations with you in them," I replied. I didn't mean to be that rude I was just very tired.

"They said that they need to buy us rings," he simply said looking out at the woods once again. I looked up at him confused.

"For what?" I finally asked.

"Our engagement."
He said looking back down at me also with a puzzled look on his face. As if he was surprised that this was news for me.

No. No. He was obviously lying. Wasn't he?

As we got inside we went to the Great Hall, all that I could think of was what Draco had told me. There's no way I'd get married to him. He's almost the complete opposite of me.

As soon as the sorting was finished and i had inhaled my food, I rushed to my dorm and started writhing a letter straight away to my parents.

Dear Mum and Dad.
I just wanted to let you know that I've arrived at Hogwarts safe and I miss you.
I also have something to ask.
Are Draco and I engaged? He mentioned something about it and I knew it couldn't possibly be true, so I had to ask you. I hope everything's okay at home and that I'm not actually marrying Draco.

Love you,
Selena

I gave the letter to my owl, Pebbles. Hopefully I'm not getting married to him and he's just talking rubbish as usual.
I walked out to the common room. A lot of Slytherins were sitting out there chatting and reading. I spotted a blond haired git and saw he was staring at me. I gave him a mocking wink and walked back to my dormitory. Daphine was in there lying on her bed reading.

I decided not to bother her and got changed into pyjamas.

Sleep didn't come easy because all I could think about was marrying Draco. I'm not going to lie he is pretty damn attractive but the personality ruins it all. My thoughts were interrupted with a knock on the door. What the heck? It was like 11 at night.

No one got up so I did. It was Draco.
"Hey beautiful have your parents told you yet?" He said smirking.

"No, and please leave so I can sleep," I glared at him.

"Nah, nice pajamas by the way," he winked looking me up and down.

Oh crap. My pajamas was shorts and a small tank top. He grabbed my wrists and put them around his neck. I was to tired to resist. He pulled us out of my dorm and the door silently closed behind us. With my arms still around Draco's neck he leaned against the wall and I couldn't resist of laying my head on top of his chest. We stood there in a comfortable silence for a couple of minutes with me half asleep leaning against Draco. He had his arms draped around my waist and his chin on top of my head.

Next time I opened my eyes I realised what we were actually doing and I quickly took a step back, Draco's arms fell to his sides and he looked at me confused.

"Leave," I demanded as I walked back to my dorm, but before he could answer I shut the door.

Darn this boy.

A/n: sorry for the little time skip I just did not feel like I had anything to write about in Selenas second year.
Please leave a comment I love to hear what you guys have to say.

Xoxo Wilma.
