Mr. Owen Blackbourne's POV  (someone told on me for calling him just Owen a while ago *sticks tongue out* you know who you are)

Sitting on the couch in the living room, I'm holding back laughter at the antics of the boys in the room.  They almost got a visible smile out of me with their childish behavior.  Erik is a conundrum.  He is big like Silas, intimidating like North, muscular like Nathan yet acts like Luke and Gabe.  No wonder Sang has no problems meshing with our group she lives with 5 of us rolled into one big muscular mass of unbridled energy.  I noticed Gabriel leave the room a few minutes after we arrived.  I suspect  he is going to help Sang with her room.  I would actually be surprised if he wasn't. Erik suddenly stops the game he and Nathan were playing as if remembering something.

"Sang get your skinny little ass down here now, I'm getting hungry." I am going to have a serious talk with him about the correct way of speaking to a young lady, especially his tiny helpless sister.  Wait, she's not helpless she is one of the most powerful people I have ever encountered.  How can such a tiny frame hold such a strong ability?   She seems to have a control of it from what I have seen so far.  She knows what she can do and doesn't exploit it.  I am still going to monitor her but as of right now I am thinking of extending an invitation to both of them to be adopted by our group.  Would make watching her a lot easier because I can not figure her out at all.  Which has never happened before. Plus it would calm some of my hothead brothers who have already gotten attached to her.

A few minutes later a grinning Gabriel saunters into the room.  "Guess who gets to sleep with Sang tonight?  I may steal the covers on purpose." Oh this is not going to go well.  I can feel the tension in the room multiply exponentially.  I am actually wondering how he managed to get her to agree. Again proof that I can't read her.  Just when I think things are about to get out of control Jessica walks into the room. Eight other pairs of eyes turn toward her expecting Sang to arrive behind her.  Them I can read better than my first edition copy of The Dark Half by Stephen King.  For some reason I just relate to Thad. As I'm trying to weigh the probability of Gabriel actually telling the truth we all Sang still hasn't arrived.  "Hey Jess where's the other half of your hip?" Sean ever the charmer is trying to squeeze an answer out of the poor girl.  Just when I'm ready to intervene Jess just shakes it off.  Wow, I'm impressed.

"She's in the kitchen arguing with Luke about some stupid nickname he gave her.  Since I am not in the mood for his brand of idiocy I decided to find out what everyone wanted for lunch so Sang and I can make it.  Plus someone needs to take Luke from the kitchen before the drool dries and we have to wash everything."   When did Kota's mousy little sister develop a backbone?  I can already see the changes Sang has made on her instantly.

"Can we pick anything? Because if we can I want a Cobb salad."  North as predicted something healthy.  "3 Blts sounds good to me." Silas was a wild card where food was concerned only guaranteed part was quantity.  He was a growing boy. "She knows what I want just tell her what she normally makes me." Erik I didn't even attempt to guess.  "That sounds fun make it two.  As long as she fixes it I'll eat it." That could be famous last words Gabriel. Nathan just shrugged his shoulders and mumbled something.  No surprise he's nervous to speak up and scare her away. Kota looked at Jessica in amazement for a moment before telling her a BLT sounded good to him too.  Victor hasn't said anything yet, he's still looking behind her for Sang to appear.  Sean gives Jessica a playful grin and childishly says spaghetti ohs I want those.  Leave it to him.  I turn to look Jessica in the eyes.  "I will eat whatever the both of you are gracious enough to prepare.  As long as you don't use onions, I will be greatly appreciative.   I don't want Sean to stab me with the epi-pen again."  Every set of eyes but Sean turn to me. "We didn't know you were allergic to onions.  How is it we never knew that?" Kota being the diplomat asked.

"Never knew until what was it Sean two months ago when I had a cheeseburger that he talked me into.  My throat started to close up and the face started to swell like a balloon.  I couldn't breathe luckily Sean had an epi-pen that he stabbed me in the leg with. It was enough to stabilize me long enough to get to the hospital.  I was going to tell everyone but right after that the assignment in New York came up and it completely slipped my mind."  Everyone turned to Kota who nodded his head to confirm I had spoken truth.

Jessica smiled over at Victor, "And what can we fix for you Victor?"  Her cheeks are tinted pink.  How could I have missed that she had a crush on him.  I'm going to have to speak to him about this or her heart could get broken.  "I'll take a BLT also, I guess."  He still was looking behind her.  His eyes start to brighten.   I try to focus behind her but all I can see is movement.

"Guess who gets to cuddle with Sang tonight?"  Luke sing-songs as he strides into the room.  Ok cue North in 5..4..3..2.."Sang!!!"

My mind is completely on my other story so I apologize if this sucks.  I will update again probably within a day or two.  I'm thinking about having specific days I post on but haven't decided yet.  As of right now it's whenever I finish one or like this one can't finish because I hit a wall and it's not even a nicely toned black t-shirt covered one either.  If that was the case I'd never leave this story to write on the other one.  As usual please let me know of you find errors or mistakes.  I'm hoping to fix my laptops WiFi issues soon so editing will be easier.  Love y'all  <3 B
