Chapter 6: Austin's Breakdown

Ally POV

I run over to the closet and grab my petticoat. I love petticoats even in the summer.

"I'm leaving!" Austin yells running out the door. I run behind him.

"Where are you running to?" I ask him.

"To the hospital!" Austin yells.

"It's three blocks!" I say trying to stop him which did NOT work.

He start running and I followed behind him. When we turned the corner, I stopped to take a breath while Austin kept running.

I walked behind him which took ten minutes to get to the hospital.

Austin and I rush into the hospital. I look and find the person behind a desk with a clipboard. I walk over and smile. She smiles back. Suddenly, I take the clipboard and run to the room Dez was in.

I burst through the door to see Trish was in tears while Dez.... Was so pale and not... Himself.

"Trish!" I say hugging her tightly. She cries in my shoulder.

"Ally I'm so glad you're here." She says wiping her tears. I nod.

"I will always be here for you." I say when Austin start panicking.

"Dez you got to be okay!"

"Dez PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME!"

"Dez-" Austin was saying when Trish interrupted him.

"Austin shut up or you might get his heart beating faster." She says.

"Why is Dez in the hospital anyways?" I ask her. She gets a tear.

"He had a heart attack." She says making Austin start panicking again. I run over and kiss him making him calm down.

"How long have you been here?" I ask.

"Um.... Three weeks."

"Three weeks and no we are just getting here!" Austin yells.

"SHUT UP!" Trish yells back. Wow the same Trish.

"I'm so sorry for Dez Trish." I say hugging her making her tear up.

"Oh and Ally... You are going to be a auntie! Not by blood but by best friends!" She says making me smile.

"Do you know what you are having?" I ask. She shakes her head.

"I'm happy for you!" I say hugging her. She hugs back.

"Now.. Am I still the brides maid?" She asks making me giggle and nod.

I look to Austin. He's laying his head on the corner of Dez's hospital bed. I could see his sadness in his face. I walk over and pat his back.

"Ally.. What am I going to do if... You know happens." I know what he's talking about.

"It won't happen. Trust me it won't. Dez will be back in shape before we know it." I say to him. He nods.
