"Oo. Bakit ganyan itsura mo?" tanong ni Von.
"Ha? Si Sam mo? Eh di ba lalaki yun?" I'm cofused.
Everytime Von talks about Sam, iniisip ko na lalaki yun. Kung magkwento kasi tong si Von, parang lalaki. Kasama niya daw maghiking, nakikipaglaro daw ng basketball sa kanya, tsaka natatalo pa daw siya sa 2K. Tapos may kwento pa siyang kasama niya daw yung kumain ng 3 box ng pizza na naubos nilang 2 lang. Kasama niya pa daw manligaw noon kay Simmy.
Eh di ba, lalaki yung maiisip niyo sa mga ganung kwento diba. Nagpalipat-lipat yung tingin ko sa kaniya tsaka dun kay Sam. Nalilito ako. Ganun kahinhin, kaganda ng katawan, at kaganda pero nagbabasketball at grabe kumain. -.-
But instead of being turned off, I grew interest of her. I think she's amazing. Mukha lang pala siya maarte pero hindi. She's too beautiful and girly that I didn't think that she could play basketball and eat a lot.
I looked at her once again and smiled.
Von
Parang timang naman tong si Kiefer. Ano ba tong mga pinagtatanong niya.
I saw him looking at Sam and giving some weird smile. Parang may something.
Von Pessumal. teammate/the bestfriend of Kiefer. Yes. Kiefer is my guy bestfriend But I have Sam as my girl bestfriend.
Martina Ynes Samantha Beatrice is my bestfriend, yung sinasabi ni Kiefer na may mahabang pangalan. But she is Sam to me.
We were childhood friends. Her dad and my dad were bestfriends. They grew up together. So yun, palagi kaming nagkakasama ni Sam. We practically had each other since day one.
"Paps! Boyfriend ba niya yung katabi niya?" Kinalabit ako ni Kiefer. My thoughts was cut off by kiefer's question. Then I looked at sam's table. Then I chuckled.
"Uy, Ba't ka tumawa?" Kiefer looked annoyed.
"Nope. that's not her boyfriend. That's her older brother." Then I saw Kiefer's face broke into a smile.
"Paps. mukhang may binabalak tayo ah. Sinasabi ko sayo mahirap yan." I warned him.
"Walang mahirap sa THE PHENOM no!" He said confidently.
HAHA kung alam mo lang.
Kiefer
Buti na lang hindi pala niya boyfriend. According to Von brother niya daw.
When I was looking at them a while a go, the guy looked so caring and protective of her. I saw Jeron Teng, La Salle's king Archer, na lumapit sa table nila kanina. I think i-intorduce yung kapatid niya na si Jeric kay Sam. Ang sama ng titig nung lalaki sa kanya.
Teka wait, kilala ni Sam si Jeron. -.- Naku ang titig pa naman ni Jeron kanina sa kaniya ang lagkit. Baka maunahan pa ako. Tsk.
"Paps, pakilala mo ako." I told Von
"Kanino?" He said after drinking from his glass. We were on our table.
"Eh di kay Sam mo,"
"Ai, oo pala. Kanina ko pa iniisip yun eh. I was planning naman talaga na i-introduce kayong dalawa eh. Ngayong napapalit pa si Simmy, pwede ko na kayo i-introduce."
"Ikaw talaga. Bakit mo ba kinakalimutan yung mga bagay na ganyan."
"Eto na nga oh"
"Tara"
We walked to Sam's table. As I was walking towards her, I can see her face clearly. Kanina pa nga lang na malayo pa siya eh ang ganda-ganda na. Ngayon parang nakakasilaw na siya.
Her skin looks so soft. Her face is so sweet. Kahit parang sasabog na ako, I kept myself composed.
"Sammie!" Von called her.
When she saw Von, she smiled so dearly then stood up to receive Von's hug.
"Vonnie! You've been ignoring me the whole time. All eyes on Simmy. Stage Boyfriend." She said. She faked a disappointed look to Von.
"Eto naman. You know I can't take my eyes off of her. But of course I won't forget my pretty bestfriend here. Wag ng tamporurot bansot"
"Don't say that. Look at me. I'm so proper tonight. Don't call me bansot." She pouted
Then my heart skipped another beat. Baka bumulagta na lang ako dito mamaya sa kaka-skip the beat ng heart ko.
Then Sam's brother coughed. "Von," then shook Von's hand.
"Kuya Mike" Von said "Thank you for coming. By the way, this is my friend/teammate Kiefer. Kief, Martina Ynes Samantha Beatrice and her brother Michael"
The brother offered his hand, I took it. I was shocked how firm he held my hand. Parang may extra diin. Parang tinatakot ako.
"Kuya," She said with a tone of exasperation.
"What?" He asked dumbly.
She shifted to face me then smiled sweetly. "You can call me Sam" and she offered her hand.
I didn't noticed I was still holding her hand and staring at her for quite a whilw until her brother coughed.
"You can let go of her now." he monotonously said.
"Kuya!" She said again. Then I heard Von chuckled beside me.
Then the host ordered us to go back to our seats because the second part of the program will be starting.
Before I left, she smiled at me and said "Nice meeting you Kiefer."
I went back to my seat. The program continued. During the program, I keep on glancing towards Sam's side.
When it was finished I wasn't able to talk to Sam anymore. Nawala bigla eh. Di ko na mahagilap. Maybe I'll ask Von na lang details about her.
