After 30 mins, Sam received a text message.
From: BF Kiefer
Sam, I'm here at the gate na.
To: BF Kiefer
Okidoki. I'll go there. :D
After a few moments, Sam saw Kiefer waving at her. She waved back.
"Hello Health Freak, Good morning," Sam greeted Kiefer. "What brought you to come to the Acrher's Lair?"
Kiefer raised his hand holding a brown paper bag. "This." And he smiled.
"What's that?" Sam curiously asked. "This is our breakfast. You said you haven't eaten. So I brought you something to eat. Of all meals, you should never skip breakfast Sam." Kiefer said.
"Eto naman. Nag-abala ka pa. I'm fine. I don't usually eat breakfast naman talaga." Sam said.
"Not anymore. Not on my watch. You'll eat breakfast from now on." Kiefer argued. "Fine! As if I can do something." Sam just smiled because of the thoughtfulness of Kiefer.
"So do you know a place where we can dive into this? Ikaw tagarito eh," Kiefer said pointing to the paper bag.
"Yeah! I know a place. But it's inside. I'll ask manong guard to let you in. I'm with you naman eh," Sam then asked the guard to let Kiefer in. The guard opened the gate for Kiefer. Kiefer just nodded to the guard.
Sam decided to bring Kiefer into a small park inside the campus. It's still early so there are still no students around. They sat on a concrete bench. Kiefer opened the paper bag and brought out 2 sandwiches and 2 orange juice.
"Here's your chicken with lettuce and tomato sandwich and your freshly made orange juice." Kiefer gave the food and the juice to Sam. Sam gladly accepted it.
"Thanks Bestie, thoughtful mo naman. Did you made these?" Sam inquired.
"Yeah, but I asked the maid to squeeze the oranges for the juice and prepare the chicken and the veggies for the sandwich. I was still driving when I called you this morning." Kiefer said while unwrapping his sandwich.
"Thanks talaga." Sam smiled. "Where were you from ba? And you weren't home this morning?" She asked.
"Galing training. Very light lang kaya maaga natapos." Kiefer explained.
"Anu ba yan? Nastorbo ko pa yata yung pahinga mo." Sam said.
"Sam, It's okay. I want to do this for you," Kiefer stared at Sam intently. She also looked at him. Sam broke the eye contact when she felt the blood rushed to her cheeks. She looked down to not let Kiefer see her blushing.
"Ah.. th-thanks," she mumbled. Kiefer just smiled. "Sige na, Kumain ka na."

When our eyes met, it felt like there were stampeding horses on my chest. My heart was racing. I can't stop the blood rushing to my cheeks. I felt them heat up. I can't hide it anymore, so I just looked at my feet.
"Sige na, Kumain ka na." Kiefer said. He smiled at me. I can still feel that he's still looking at me.
"Makatitig naman. Matunaw naman ako niyan eh," I said to him. Now it's his time to blush. He looks cute when blushing. Stampede my heart alert again. Ba't ba kasi napaka-charming at gwapo nitong si Kiefer.
He recovered his wit and said, "Ganda kasi,"
"Kumain ka na nga," I said. I officially declare this day to be the Blushing Day.
