In Inkopolis a bunch of inklings gather around the lobby at night dancing their heart away because Splatfest has officially begun. Splatfest are always very anticipated in Inkopolis because everyone can hang out, battle for their team, & win prizes. Now it's time for Jared's first one
"whoaaa the place looks so beautiful at night, look at all the lights, fireworks & posts. People sure do draw really well."
"Yeah it's like Christmas to us. And the best part is we have these almost every month!" Carter explained
"HEY ARE THOSE THE SQUID SISTERS!? I never saw them perform up close. And Marie's even hotter in person."
Amethyst slapped Jared hard
"Oh OUCH!!!"
"Even flirting. C'mon are we here to chat or represent our teams?"
"Oh your right....and you both like smoothies. Well may the best team win." Jared said
"This is gonna be fun! Let's go Amethyst!"
Carter & Amethyst head in the lobby.
"Hmm we still have to look for those 4 Octolings. I'll try to be SUPER FOCUSED when looking for-hey it's Lil D! HEY what's up!"
"Oh hey Jared didn't see you there."
".....where's your splatfest tee??"
"I don't compete in splatfest's. Seems wasteful sense I'm already leveled up & maxed out my clothes abilities."
"Oh well what team would you choose?"
"....um idk, milkshakes."
"AWESOME! So in a way your on our team. There's no way we can lose with you."
"Oh brother." D said with an annoyed look
"So are you just here to watch who wins or are you gonna stand next to the soda machine all night like a creep?"
"Something like that first one. I'm actually trying to look for someone."
"Who is it?"
"A person named Karl. He & his team pulled some wrong moves & they could use em to wreck the splatfest."
"Want me to help?"
"Hmm idk..don't take this the wrong way but your not exactly the best at splatoon."
"Nah I've gotten way better sense when I met you and I can prove it by looking them for you. You'll see!!" Jared runs off
"I never said yes you could help!....why do I even bother."
A few moments later. Amethyst, Carter, Gabe, Mike, Dylan, & Chuck come out of the lobby
"Wow those were some awesome battles guys! This is the most fun splatfest ever!"
"Yeah it is!" Chuck agreed with Carter "I never been to a splatfest before, this is really exciting."
"I'm glad your enjoying yourself Charles." Gabriel says "but we do have to work on your Slosher form, it's a little sloppy still."
"Isn't being sloppy the whole point of the joint." Dylan sassed, then everyone snickered
"Well I mean he died quite a bit in that last match...And the one before that. I just thought our fellow teammate could use more training."
"I think Chuck did pretty good out there." Carter said
"Heh heh thanks Carter."
"No problem dude."
