"When I go back home I will invite you so you can have a true meal which is has less modified foods," she said looking at the steak that had been placed before her.
"I would love that very much my dear," Alex said as he approved of the bottle of wine to go with their meal. "Cat got your tongue Marcellus. I swear you are usually more talkative that this," Alex said with a smirk making Nyasha laugh.
Ah the effects of wine Marcellus thought to himself as he observed her during their entire meal.
"He never talks," she said quickly clamping a hand over her mouth as my lips twitched into a small smile before sending her a scowl. "Forgive me sir. I don't know what came over me," she said as Alex laughed so hard.

"Nyasha I see us becoming lifetime friends," he said sipping his wine. "Now where were we, ah food. You should come by some other time I will prepare something for you, you won't even be able to tell the difference between organic or modified meat," he said glancing at Marcellus.
"I would love that. But only if my boss is also there to help judge of course," she said with a warm smile surprising Marcellus. "What do you think sir?"
"I have no objection towards a good meal," I said.

Spending the rest of the afternoon with Alex he saw another side to her he hadn't seen as she laughed more enjoying herself as Alex tried his best to annoy me flirting with her here and there but she was completely oblivious to this brushing him off when he said random things here and there. The waiter who had stopped us nervously removed our plates most likely praying he wouldn't lose his job over the stunt from earlier.

Before we knew it a light dinner was placed in front of us as Alex began to tell her our childhood stories. I watched in fascination as she tried her best to maintain her professionalism but failing miserably because of the alcohol she had consumed. Stopping her from taking the glass I moved it aside as she mumbled, "Party pooper," making Alex burst into more laughter.
"Shall we?" I said standing up.
"But I wanted to stay," she pouted as I gave her a blank stare. She was acting like a child and if so I would treat her like one.

"We will come back tomorrow, okay," I said.
Those were the words that slipped out of my mouth. I had planned on telling her we were leaving in a deadpan tone, but no I spoke in a voice I myself didn't recognize. A voice which was....sweet if one must describe as I stood looking at her. Alex was wearing a wide grin and I knew tomorrow was going to be a long day for me as I watched Nyahsa leave the table.

Buckling her up I drove us home as she sang along to most if not all the songs on my playlist. It wasn't long before she fell asleep.
I smirked at this as I got out of the car leaving her in it.

----

Nyasha woke with the urge to use the bathroom as she realized she was still in the car.
When did we stop moving? She thought to herself as she slowly got out heading inside the house. After relieving herself she took some pain killers heading straight to bed.

The following morning she woke up bright and early to find Ellen nursing a cup of coffee. Preparing breakfast together Marcellus came to halt at the entrance shocked.
"Good morning sir," she chirped as she placed a plate of food for him on the table.
"Good morning," he replied as he pondered over the fact that she looked like she wasn't suffering from a hangover.

"Today's agenda," he growled as they got settled in the car.
Reciting his schedule to him she waited for any questions he had, but when he threw none at her she slightly relaxed into her seat.

Marcellus's POV

Sitting across from her was really no use as she was the perfect temptation. A she devil couldn't compete with her at this very moment as my eyes ran up her legs sighing as her skirt cut off my view just at her knees. it was truly going to be a long day I thought to myself as I ran a hand through my hair messing it up in an instant.
