"This is for all the fans that waited—the bitch niggas that hated, old hoes we dated look mama we made it!" I rapped as I looked out into the crowd. The shows kept getting bigger and everyone knew every fucking word—I loved this shit. Bein on stage, there was just something about it. I felt so complete—so fuckin happy. Getting to perform my shit and watch it be received the way it was made all the shit and long nights and hard work worth it.

As the hook came on I heard the crowd started screaming and turned over a little startled and couldn't help but grin when I noticed what they was all excited about. My mouth stretched into a huge smile when I turned to look over my shoulder and saw Tess walking towards me.

"Nobody's perfect, nobody's perfect ayeee but you're perfect for me," she sang as I got a good look at her. I hadn't seen her in a week—nobody even told me she was coming out. I got a good look at her, she had on some lil boots with heels with jeans and a Dreamville bomber jacket, my lil groupie.

She walked towards me as she sang, "We rollin we ridin' he like to go inside and I love to go all night and—" at this point she was standing inches away from me, my mind forgot that I was in an arena full of people all I wanted to do was kiss my woman. As I leaned in, she playfully pushed me away and ran across to where my backup singers were and the three of them did a cute lil dance together.

I was mezmerized by my woman—she was so beautiful, the way she rolled those hips and her stunning voice. Shit, she got me. This was the last thing I was expecting right now. I caught myself as I realized the second verse had started and I missed my queue.

Once the song ended the crowd went wild for Tess and she gave a shy smile before running off the stage and giving the crowd a small wave. "Wooo," I whistled into the mic a bit—still flustered and surprised. "Y'all almost caught me slippin there—" I chuckled before we went into the next song.

The thing about me and Tess was, we never were public about our relationship or anything like that. Given, we knew that people knew we were together but we just weren't into PDA or announcing any of our business. We wanted to keep that all private. We had to learn to separate our relationship from our artistry. Don't get me wrong, that's the mother of my child and my woman and I love her with everything I have. I didn't wanna let media or fans or anything get in between that, what we had was special.

I walked off the stage at the end of the show and was met by Elijah—with the shows getting bigger we had to up our security game, I'd dealt with enough crazy fans in previous tours. My road manager dapped me up and handed me a towel as I took off my mic pack. "Where is she?" was the first thing I asked and everyone laughed before telling me she was back in the dressing room.

I headed back to the dressing room and found Tess sat on the couch with Ib and Mike and Lex was sleeping on the other couch. "Yooooo yall wanna keep secrets?" I asked them, obviously she'd arranged with Ib. At this point, I didn't care I was just so happy to see my woman.

She jumped up as soon as she saw me and hugged me real tight—I was all sweaty and shit and she aint even care. "My babyyyyyy," she looked up at me, "you did amazing," she said grinning before leaning in and kissing me slowly.

"Thank you," I said against her lips before kissing her again, "so you just hoppin on J Cole's stage now?" I asked her with a smirk and she nodded.

"It was Ib's idea," she told me, " you know I'm not even used to such huge crowds."

"You killed it though mama," I gave her a tight squeeze. "you looked so good out there too—" I kissed her forehead. "I'ma need you to start coming on the road with me," I told her and she laughed shaking her head.

"We missed you..." she admitted, "We're staying for the weekend," she then told me and I couldn't help but grin. I still had two shows this weekend but atleast I had my babygirls here. That shit made me so happy.

"I luh you babygirl," I mumbled before pecking her once more and smacking her ass—shit I couldn't help it, I don't know what it is, she was getting thicker or something but she was lookin right in them jeans she had on.

"What I tell you about doing that around company?" she swatted my hands away and all I did was laugh at her.

"My bad girl," I chuckled before walking over to Lex. She was sleep, but I didn't care I wanted to see my baby. I picked her up and she rubbed her eyes before opening them.

"Dadddy," she smiled and gave me a soft smile.

"Aye babygirllll I missed you," I kissed her all over her face.

"I seen you singin ya song wiff mommy," she nodded at me.

"Oh word? You watched the show baby?" I looked in my daughters eyes and just felt myself ease up—not even realizing I'd been tense.

"Ya unca mike was showin me you and momma singin from up up upstairs—" she yawned, poor thing was probably tired. I had to get her back to the hotel to sleep, we was catching a flight in the morning to get to the next city anyway.

Tess

We'd stopped to grab something to eat from Mcdonalds before heading back to the hotel. Most of the crew and stuff were going out but we were heading to our hotel room. Lex had to sleep and me and man had some catching up to do. After finishing her happy meal, we put Lex down for bed and then took a shower and got in bed ourselves. I was sitting in the bed watching whatever they had on the tv while snacking on some candy in Jermaine's t-shirt, before he came out in a towel and joined me.

I bit my lip looking up at him—I don't know if it's him being away for so long but shit, I missed him. I missed holding him and going to bed with him at night, he's my baby. I needed him.

"Whatchu lookin at?" he asked me with a smirk as he dried himself off and slid on his boxers.

"Nothing.... You fine as hell, I hope you know that—" I mumbled while picking at my candy.

"I'd like to say the same shit about you baby," he gave me his crooked smile and laughed at the end.

I flipped him off before rolling my eyes, "you really not tryna get some tonight huh?"

"Nah I'ma get it... It's been a week—I'm a man with needs Tess,"

"Be nice to me then," I pouted before he walked over to the edge of the bed and pulled me close so he was standing between my legs.

"I am nice to you... and you the most beautiful woman I ever seen, you hear me?" he said before leaning in and kissing me slowly.

"I love you," I couldn't help but smile.

"I love you too... you holdin everything down back home?" he asked me.

"You know I am," I nodded, "but we'll talk about that later... I'm tryna get into something else right now."

"What's that?" he cocked his head to the side and raised an eyebrow. He knew exactly what I wanted, he was just tryna hear me say it.

"You know," I mumbled before bringing my lips to his again.

"Aight I gotchu," he said, "grab a pillow or something though, I don't want none of that screamin shit you do, your daughter's in the other room—"

"I'll try zaddy—" I laughed before pecking him again.
