I woke up early after a restless night. I came threw on my grey sweatpants and navy hoody and wen downstairs. I remember that my jeep as Jamies. I had been putting off going to get it, I might as well get it over with.
I grabbed my keys and walked over to Jamies place. It wasn't that long of a walk but I was strolling over hoping he would be gone out by the time I got there.
When I arrived at his house, I noticed his front door was wide open. I couldn't just take my car and leave, I had to go see how he was.
''Jamie? You home?'' I said gently knocking on the door. There was along pause. ''Leah?'' Jamiesvoice boomed from his sitting room. ''Yeah, can I come in?'' I said standing at his doorstep. ''Of course you can. I'm right in here.'' He said
I walked into the sitting room to find Jamie on the sofa with a duvet and pilllow. ''Are you okay? why are you on the sofa?'' I said concerned. ''Wasn't bothered going to bed last night, but anyway, how are you? ''' Jamie said looking at me smiling. ''I'm fine Jamie, I wanna talk though. Well, I wannaapologise for the other night.'' I said ashamed. I never did mean to hurt him.
''Don't apoligise, I should be the one whos sorry. Lets just put it behind it us yeah? becauseeverthings be going so wlel lately, i'd hate to ruin that.'' Jamie said taking my hand as I stood awkwardly infront of him.
''Yes please'' I said smiling and sitting down beside him. He grabbed my waist and pulled me on top on him. I lay beside him as we watched tv.
''Actualy, since your here, I have a question.'' Jamie said looking at me slightly frightened.
''Yes?'' I said
''Well theres a this Christmas party next week, I was wondering would you come with me? Its a formal ting.'' He said smiling nervously.
''Oh Jamie I'd love to, is it a work event?'' I said enthusiastically
''Well its a family thing actually, its my family's Friends who are hosting it. There will be at least 500 people there, we went together about four years ago remember? I haven't been since.''
''Of course! I remember it. I look foreward to it.'' I said winking.
I pulled myself up off the sofa. ''Well I better go Jamie, I'll call you later.'' I said hugging him gently then pressing my lips against his.
''Okay babe, I love you.'' He said.
I headed for the door then hopped into my jeep. Thank God things were okay with me and Jamie now. I decided to go dress shopping.
