Two lovers; two parents who disapprove.

Evangeline Ross, only daughter of Ruby Ross, gets invited to a homecoming dance where she lays eyes on Albert Jourdan, only son of Nicolas Jourdan, who finds her very attractive.

When he gets the courage to ask her out, his father encourages him woo her. Until, Nicolas becomes aware of Evangeline's mother - Ruby. He demands for his son to no longer chase after Evangeline while Albert cares deeply for her.

However, he's not the only one who disapproves. Ruby, finding out who Alberts father is, doesn't like the idea of Evangeline dating the offspring of the jerk who cheated on her.
