16. Confusing

(a/n: it's a little short, I'm going to try to update this more often, I promise!!!)

"Hi Liam" a feminine voice says making Liam turn his head to look at Sophia sitting in back of him.

"H-Hi" he says with a slight wave before turning around. "Your hair looks nice" Liam frowns a little before nodding, "Th-Thanks" he says, before debating whether or not he should turn around again

"Are you doing anything after this class is over?" Liam swallows hard, no he wasn't but why did she want to hang out with him so much?

"N-No" "Well I'm going to the small cafe, y'know the one next door for some coffee. Would like to come along?"

Liam shrugs, "O-Okay" he says, he really did want a muffin at the moment. "Great" Sophia says with a successful smile. Liam smiles back before turning around, he looked to the side slightlyz

He didn't know where Zayn was, usually in his economic class Zayn is always there to walk him but this time Liam walked by himself.

After hearing the loud bell rings, Liam gets all his things together noticing Sophia waiting for him.

"Ready?" Liam nods, following behind her. "Have you always stuttered?" Liam nods, "Y-Yea, sorry" "No don't apologize, it's cute"

Liam nods, usually he liked when Zayn calls him cute. Throughout the walk next to the school's cafe, Liam listened to Sophia ramble about her 'soon to be model' career.

"And I have so many head shots, you want to see?" Before Liam could even disagree, Sophia had already whipped the pictures from her bag

"Y-You always ca-carry pictures?" "Of course, just in case an agent comes out of neither. Always have to be prepared" Liam gives her a weak smile, this girl was nuts

Liam blocked out Sophia's yapping before finishing his tea, now he was regretting that he agrees to come with her. "Y'know Liam, you are so sweat. Most guys don't listen as good as you do"

Liam snaps out of his thoughts, feeling Sophia place her hands on his. "H-Huh?" "Y'know, I'd really like it if you'd take me out on a date"

Liam frowns moving his hand, "W-What?" "A date, I mean you like me. That's why you agreed to come with me here" "I-I was being ni-nice"

Sophia frowns, "Is there someone else?" "I-I'm not si-single, I-I thought we were fr-friends?" "Friends? I've been flirting with you for weeks"

"R-Really?" Liam asks, he always thought she was just being nice to him. "You are so confusing" Sophia says, standing up gathering her things.

Liam scratches the back of his neck, watching her huff angrily as she switched her way out the shop

"W-What happened?" He asks himself with a frown. Liam stayed for a while in the cafe, ordering another cup of tea. He might as well stay since he had nothing else to do

"Hello gorgeous" Liam looks up from his cup, "Wh-Where were y-you?" He asks, watching Zayn take his place infront of him

"Finishing out masterpiece, y'know that painting we did?" "W-Where you ou-outlined me?"

Zayn grins, "That one, it's almost finish y'know? I can't wait to show you" Liam smiles, "I-Is it pretty?" "As pretty as you Li" Zayn says, grabbing his hand

Liam blushes, noticing the dry paint on Zayn's hand. "Anything happened today?" "N-No, well So-Sophia was here"

Liam grins watching the way Zayn rolls his hazel eyes. "For what?" "Sh-She thought I liked h-her" Zayn scoffs, "Of course you don't, you like me" he says with a dressing grin

"T-True, but sh-she called me c-confusing" "Confusing?" Liam nods making Zayn smile. "I mean, you are sometimes"

"N-Nuh uh" "Yuh huh, it's like you have little brain battles with yourself, and you have this cute little frown on your face"

Liam blushes, "S-Stop Zayn" "What? I'm being honest, you really do have a cute frown, and then your forehead wrinkles a little. And the best part is that pout, God it drives me insane"

The younger boy couldn't see because of the intensity of his smile, he cheeks were hurting so bad but he couldn't care less

Whenever Zayn would compliment him, Liam feels so honored and it makes him feel proud to be himself.

Before he didn't like the fact that he stuttered, but Zayn? He changed his view on it, it was going to be something he'll over come but for now he was starting to actually like it

Well, he likes it when Zayn mentions to call him adorable each time. He just liked looking into his hazel eyes and loving the way his tongue sticks out when Zayn smiles

He just really really really love Zayn, and he couldn't wait to tell him that someday. Maybe even tomorrow because lord knows how short life is, Liam wishes to fall in love with someone someday

And now his wish is fulfilled, now the only thing he wishes is that no one takes this beautiful angel of a man named Zayn Malik away from him
