Will do you think Nala is underrated?

Yes.

You see, she's not a certified Disney princess, because she doesn't fit one of the rules.

The rules are:

-Lead female in an animated movie: Yes

-Must be born royal, marry royal, or perform an act of heroism: Yes, since she married Simba.

-Cannot have been introduced in a sequel: Check

-Must be human: Now, there's the problem.

Nala is not human.

But neither is Ariel. She was a mermaid when she was introduced.

I'm kind of mad about this.
