Chapter 52. Scary movie. *Taylor's POV*

"So Taylor, I was thinking since it's close to Halloween.." Sarah started.

"Yes?" I asked.

"We could watch some scary movies!" She suggested.

"Sarah, you know I don't do well with scary movies." I explained.

"Oh c'mon! It'll be fun!" She stated.

"Depends... how scary?" I asked.

"Very scary." She said.

"Do we have to?" I asked.

"Yes!!" She exclaimed.

With a groan I mumbled a 'fine' and she pulled me back downstairs and to the living room.

"What was the point in going upstairs just to come back down?" I asked.

"Exercise?" She said with a shrug.

I laughed.

Sarah went to the kitchen to make popcorn and I looked through Netflix for a good movie.

Sarah came back with a two bowls full of popcorn in one hand and two cans of soda in the other. She set them down on the table in front of us and sat down next to me.

"How about this one?" I asked and gestured toward the screen that in big words says 'finger prints'.

"Finger prints? That doesn't seem like it would be scary." she said.

"Exactly. That's why we can watch it." I responded.

(If you like scary movies then you should watch this one. It's cool because the whole thing goes together at the end, like a puzzle.)

I put the movie on and it started playing.

"It better be scary. I love scary movies." Sarah said.

"Sarah it wouldn't be under horror films if it wasn't scary." I said.

"Oh. Good point." She said.

"Just watch the movie." I said and laughed.

She sat back and watched it.
I got up and turned the lights off, just to add to the scary effect, then went back to sit down.

"This is getting pretty scary.." Sarah admitted as the ghost girl on the screen got closer.

"Yeah.. Your right." I said and brought the bowl of popcorn up to my lap.

The ghost girl got closer and closer. She reached for the screen and-

"BOO!!" Evan screamed from behind me and Sarah.

We both screamed on the top of our lungs. I jumped off the couch and dropped my popcorn. ):

Meanwhile Evan and Daniel
were laughing their butts off.

Sarah paused the movie and hopped up.

"That wasn't funny!!" She yelled.

"Your right! It was hilarious!"
Evan said while laughing.

"It was pretty funny." Daniel agreed.

I gave him 'the look' and his expression totally changed.

"I meant.. no that's not funny at all that was mean." Daniel said trying to save himself.

I smirked to myself. "Daniels right. At least he's sane. Unlike some people. Evan." I said and glanced over at Evan.

"I'm sane. I'm just a jerk." He said.

"And you openly admit your a jerk?" I asked.

"Yeah because I know I am and I'm fine with it. But it's not that I'm a jerk. It's my attitude that is jerkish." He explained.

"Does that make sense to you?" I asked.

"Yup." He said.

"That makes one of us." I replied.

"Shut up." he said and crossed his arms.

"Evan and Daniel go away. We are tying to watch a movie." Sarah said.

"We would still be watching it but we were rudely interrupted." I added.

"And we missed a good scary part!" Sarah said.

"Thanks to you guys." I added, just to add the guilt effect on them.

"Fine! We'll go!" Daniel exclaimed.

"Enjoy the movie." Evan said with a grin and a mischievous glow in his eyes.

They walked away and Sarah and I just looked at each other.

"Well that was weird." She said.

"Yeah.. very." I agreed.
