Chapter 76

Chapter 76. *Taylor's POV*

"The bus just got in an accident!" Evan yelled.

"What?" I asked and stood up in astonishment. Our bus hit a car? I looked through the windshield of the bus. Everybody was doing the same.

"It was a small white car." Evan said.

"Mom and dad have a small white car.."

He looked at me fast. "Don't think like that. It's not them."

"How to you know that?"

"Taylor! I said don't think like that! Stop it!" He yelled.

I nodded and sat back down in my seat.

"Sorry I snapped at you." He said and sat down too.

I shrugged. "No it's fine."

"So it looks like we are doing to be stuck here for a while." Daniel said. He moved Sarah and sat down next to me.

"Hey!" Sarah yelled.

"This is only temporarily hush up." Daniel replied and I laughed.

"So let's talk-"

"YOU KIDS NEED TO KEEP QUIET. NO BODY SAY ANOTHER WORD." The bus driver said into the buses microphone.

There were a few groans as well as whispers from the other kids on the bus.

I looked at Daniel.

"Let's play a game." He whispered.

"What kind of game?" I asked.

"We could play Rock Paper Scissors. That's quiet."

"No that's lame."

"Then do you have a better idea?"

"Yes actually. I do." I said

"Do share." He replied.

"Twenty questions!"

"Twenty questions?"

"Yes."

"Alright. Who starts?"

"You can." I said.

"Okay. Why do you like me?"

"Because you're smart and funny and sweet and really good looking." I answered.

"Same to you." He replied and smiled.

I smiled back. "So I ask you?"

He nodded.

I sat back and thought for a moment. What have I always wanted to know about Daniel?

"Who was your first kiss?"

He sat back too and smiled proudly. "My first kiss. It was with the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. We were at the movies. It was perfect. It was her first kiss too."

"Me?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded. "Yes."

"You're so sweet."

"Not as sweet as that kiss. Man, that was a good-"

I laughed but soon after covered my mouth remembering we couldn't be loud. I moved my hand and smiled at him.

"Okay Daniel."

He laughed too. "I love you so much."

"I love you more."

"Well I love you most." He said and kissed me.

About an hour had passed and we finally arrived at school.

Everybody went to their classes.

As I sat in my class, staring down at my blank paper, I couldn't help but still be on edge.

Who was in that accident?

I just wanted to know. I won't be okay until I do.

It couldn't have been my parents though, right? The hospital would have told us. They would have told Logan and he would have told us! Wouldn't they?

I picked up my phone and started to write, right then I got a text.

I quickly took my phone out of my pocket, setting it down on the desk where the teacher couldn't see it. I looked down at the screen before sliding my phone unlocked to reply.
