[summary: Brendon and Ryan are spies. With a dangerous enough job, something is bound to go wrong...right?]

June 18, 2003.

Brendon Urie; a spy who works for the government. He's been doing this for 2 years. Although he has been doing this for quite awhile, he still attempts to understand the entirety of the situations he gets himself into. Or, maybe, it hasn't been that long, and its normal for him to be confused. Who knows. Yet, with all of this confusion, he still manages to be part of the top 10 in his job.

It was always interesting to see the things he gets to deal with. Especially today.

Brendon was called in for a new mission. To watch and view the strange life of a man named Jon Walker. Apparently, his actions have been, both, destructive to himself and others. He's made a name for himself.

"If things get out of hand," the dark silhouette of a man in front of him spoke, "you know what to do." Brendon nodded, chest tightening up. With that, he got up.

"Oh, and Urie?"

"Yes, sir?"

"You'll be working with somebody else," The man chuckled. Brendon froze. He's never worked with somebody before. He knew he couldn't ask why this was happening.

"Thats fine. Who is it?"

"I believe you may of heard of him. Ryan Ross?"

Ryan Ross; the man who was always somehow one step above Brendon. Brendon couldn't put a face on him, as he had never seen him before. Only heard of him, like he was some 'worldwide phenomenon.' It was quite annoying about how much praise he was getting, and how Brendon had to hear about it everyday. But Brendon didn't know what the guy was capable of, so he couldn't really say anything.

"Is there a problem, Urie?" The man asked, getting annoyed by the presence of Brendon. Brendon snapped out of his thoughts.

"No...sir."

"Good. You'll meet Ross downstairs. He should be waiting by the window right by the stairway."

"Right. Thank you." Brendon nodded, and then left the room.

Just as the man said, there was somebody leaning against the wall, looking out the window. Brendon hesitated, but made it to the bottom of the staircase.

"You must be Ryan, right?" Brendon asked.

"Yep. Brendon?" Ryan spoke, breaking his attention from the view from outside. Brendon smiled, and nodded.

This was there first time meeting. Brendon didn't know what to expect, but it certainly wasn't this.

July 7, 2003.

"Hey, Brendon?" Ryan asked, looking over at Brendon, who was staring intently at the screen. They were sitting in a small, dark room. Its been a little under a month since they started to watch on Jon. During that time period, Ryan and Brendon had formed a little friendship. Not too serious, as it would get in the way of their work. But Brendon couldn't help but feel something for Ryan. He didn't really think about it, as he thought it was only platonic.

"Yeah, Ryan?"

"I was meanin' to ask you awhile ago, but why do you never leave this place?"

Brendon didn't take his eyes off the screen for a second, watching as Jon lay there on his bed, mumbling to himself, but Brendon couldn't help but be invested into what Ryan was trying to say.
