Taraji

Last night didn't get any better. Terrence remained quiet and went straight to sleep. No cuddling , no kiss. No nothing.

Something was bothering him , that was clear but Terrence never shut down on me. I felt like I was losing my Bestfriend.

He laid on the opposite side of the king size bed on his stomach with his hands above his head. His muscular bare back rose and fell as he slept peacefully.

'What is happening to us?' I asked myself. I placed my hand over the necklace he got me  and opened the locket. Sometimes I wish I could turn back the hands of time and just stayed friends with Terrence because I didn't want a relationship to destroy our friendship.

I smiled remembering that day at the awards. We was so happy.

The Soul Train Awards was when it all started. Yes I'm in love with Terrence and yes I want to be with him. I wanted it to work but my gut was telling me otherwise.

I leaned over and placed a soft kiss on his cheek. He stirred a bit turning his head to face me. He batted his eyes as I layed soft kisses on his lips.

"Goodmorning Terry."I whispered cupping his face. He blinked and looked up at me , I searched his eyes hoping to feel that connection we used to have. I didn't know if he was still in his mood this morning but I was taking my chances.

He placed his hand on my belly rubbing it and laid a soft kiss. He got up from the bed without saying a word. I furrowed my brows shifting on my knees.

"Tee please talk to me. What happened yesterday with you and my father?"I almost pleaded. I didn't like this. Terrence grabbed his phone off the charger looking down at it.

I rolled my eyes. He was so damn stubborn. His chiseled chest heaved up and down as he looked over at me.

"Talk about what Taraji? Nothing happend. I just see things clearer now."He trailed off as he typed something on his Iphone and placed it back on the nightstand.

"What is that supposed to mean Terrence?"I tossed his way right after. His green eyes met mine. He bit his bottom lip holding back his words.

I pouted looking down playing with the grey sheets. He sighed and kissed my forehead.

He pulled away and looked me softly in my eyes. He leaned forward and placed another kiss on my lips. The blissful moment was short and sweet.

But I knew Tee way better. He was avoiding the question.

He was up to something. I felt it. He was giving me this cold shoulder all of a sudden but just a few days ago we were fine.

But I wasn't going to stress myself out. It wasn't good for the baby. I eased away from him feeling the obvious tension. The hormones was starting to take over! I felt it.

My bottom lip trembled as I stared forward.

"I got to go handle something , I'll be back."Terrence looked over at the clock that adorned the wall. I said nothing. If he didn't want to talk then so be it.

My father said something to Terrence I saw it written all over his face and I was going to get to the bottom of it.

His jaw clenched as he shuffled around the room in only his black Versace briefs.

I brought my knees up to my chest as far as they could go rubbing them.

"I love you."I said just above a whisper. He stood just before the bathroom. His shoulders sank.

"I love you too Taraji."He said as his soft eyes shifted towards the floor. He ran his fingers through his hair and emerged into the bathroom.

I laid my head on my knees. I had to talk to my father.
