I laid back in my black leather seats fully reclined. The smooth jazz opera played as I rocked my head from side to side, fully engulfed by the sounds of the soft violins and saxophones.

I sat outside her house, the secured gate was the only thing that stood in my way of getting in. I pulled the large binoculars up to my eyes, hoping to get a glimpse of her.

This wasn't my first night watching their house, I had known where she'd live from hacking Williams computer at the station.

He was like an open book, such and easy target, He didn't expect a thing. With his birthday coming up I made sure I bought two Marjor League baseball tickets to see the LA Dodgers, exclusive VIP seats behind home plate. He loved that team, this weekend while he was at the game I'd finally have my way with my Taraji.

'Did she like the flowers? I'll have to send her some more.'I thought to myself.

I pulled out my phone scrolling through looking for the ultimate surprise, which was a princess cut 10crt gold diamond engagement ring. I was going to propose, yes that's perfect.

I knew how much she loved shiny things. Now since that asshole was away I had her all to myself. I knew she still loves me...she had too.

Finally me and my love can be together again.

👺'Don't be stupid Calvin that bitch left you and had another mans baby...you know what has to be done.'

"Devil..I can't kill a child not after what happened to ours. She'll never forgive me."I said lowly. The sinister voice snickered.

👺'She betrayed you Calvin, she doesn't love you! She never loved you, if she did she would have never left, now do what we have came here to do!'

"She does love me Devil...she has to love me."I panicked.

I picked up the single rose that sat on top of stack of photographs that I had taken of the love of my life throughout the week. Loosely picking the petals, I watched each fall into my lap.

"She loves me..."I said through clenched teeth. Devil demented laughed echoed out through my head.

"She loves me.."With one petal left on the stem. I didn't want to say the phrase out loud.

👺'She loves you not...I told you..the roses never lie Calvin.' His satanic torment continued.

I grabbed my ears rocking back and forth in the drivers seats. The loud shrills of the opera music continued to blare out in the small space.
