He begins to pull out of the garage and into the driveway before taking off. We kept driving in complete silence.

I was not one for awkward silence, so I turned on the radio and Taylor Swift began playing from the speakers. Tucker glanced at me before cringing at the radio. He was quick to change it to some rock music.

I glanced at him at anger. I change it back to Taylor Swift almost immediately, then went back to looking out the window, but that still didn't stop him from changing it right back to his music. Before I could change it back to Taylor, his hand covered the button.

"My car, my music. Keep your grubby hands off of it." He states before slowly taking his hand off of the button.

I furrow my eyebrows towards him. "Are we almost there yet? Where do I even go? How will I even pay for lunch?--"

"Stop with the questions." He demands. "We're not friends, nor will we ever be. So don't talk to me."

"Would it kill you to be nice?" I question once more.

He sighs. "That's another question."

"Look, I don't want to be friends with you as much as you don't want to be friends with me, but being a dick is---"

He begins to laugh, interrupting my sentence. "That's a good one, clumsy." He says, pointing his finger at me. "But we all know you wish to be friends with people like me."

"That's a good one, asshole. You think everyone wants to be friends with you." I reply, with a smile. Proud of my comeback.

He places his hand over his heart dramatically. "Ouch. That one hurt, clumsy. Pretty impressive for a good girl."

"I have a name, you know." I reply as I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, so does everyone else. I don't care to hear it." He sighs.

Eventually we reached the parking lot of the school. It was pretty obvious that he parked no where near his friends because of me. He parked the car, and I try to open the door, but it was lock.

I look over to Tucker who smirked at me. "Unlock the car, Tucker."

"Only under one circumstance." He says, holding up one finger. "If you tell anyone you're living with me--"

"Oh don't worry, I wont. I'm too embarrassed myself." I said before swiping his keys out of his hand and unlocking the car myself.

I stepped out leaving him speechless as I continued to enter the school that I knew nothing about. I walked in and looked around. Definitely not like my school at home.

I continued to look around the school. Everyone was nicely dressed, there were obvious cliques, and everything was organized.

Until I collided with another body. I immediately stumbled back, looking up. I ran into someone's back. The tall figure turned away from his clique to meet eyes with me. Blonde hair, glistening blue eye's, he was gorgeous, not quite as cute as Tucker though...

Oh, no. Elise stop thinking about him.

"My bad." I finally said, smiling a little in hope that I wouldn't get pushed to the ground with his big muscles. This must've been a group of jocks by the look of it.

He smiled. "Don't worry about it. Are you new here?"

Wow, the people were much nicer then I expected. Way nicer. "Is it obvious?"

He laughed, as his friends behind him began whispering some things and laughing as well.

"Thomas." He greeted, holding out his hand.

I shook his hand. "Elise."

"So, are you lost?" He questioned.

I shrugged. "Kind of. I'm looking for the main office to get my classes."

"Right over there. Here I'll walk you to it." He says as he begins to walk. I follow him as I stand right next to him. "So what brings a beautiful girl like you here?"

I laugh before placing a strand of my hair behind my ear. "I actually go to another school, but since my mother is away I'm...crashing at a friend's house here for a year."

A "friend's" house. That's hilarious.

"A year? That's a pretty long time." He laughs. I nod in agreement. We finally reach the main office. "I'll see you around?"

"Yeah, sure." I reply before he waved goodbye and walked away. I looked further back into the crowd of students, finally laying my eyes upon a certain clique. One with Tucker and his friends. Two guys and a girl.

The girl began making out with Tucker's face intensely.

Okay, girlfriend...

I shake my head before talking to the lady over the counter.

"Name?" She questioned, not amused.

"Elise Carson." I reply. She begins typing in somethings into her computer before printing off a sheet of classes and handing it to me.

As I head out, I look back up at Tucker. Bad idea, because he was looking straight at me. I immediately turn away for a few seconds before looking back up at him. Luckily, he wasn't looking at me this time.

With a sigh, I looked down at my class sheet and began looking around.

+++

"How was your first day at the new school?" Susan asked me as I helped her with washing the dishes.

"Great." I smiled.

She smiled back. "I knew you'd like it. Now how about you go tell Tucker dinner's ready?"

Great.

I nodded, taking off the rubber gloves and drying my hands before heading upstairs. I turned to the right hallways before turning the knob.

Probably should've knocked especially when I came face to face with him as he was only in his boxers.

I immediately covered my eyes with my hands like a little kid before turning around.

"Look, I know you have a crush on me, but you don't need to make it so obvious." He laughs.

I uncover my eyes and turn around in defense. "I do not. I don't know if the thought ever came across to you, but not everyone wants to get in your pants, Tucker."

He smirks as he approaches me. Oh god what have I done??

I began backing up until hitting the back of the wall as I came inches away from him.

My face blushing as hard as it could.

"I know you like me, clumsy. Everyone does." He winks. I was completely trapped between his gorgeous, shirtless body and the wall now.

"I don't." I replied, trying to push him off of me. He didn't even budge. "Get off!"

He backs up a few feet, holding his hands in the air in surrender. "I may have not gotten it out of you this time."

"You never will either. God, why is that so hard to get through your thick skull?" I questioned.

He chuckled before smirking once again. "I think you're blushing there, clumsy."

I immediately felt my cheeks, and boy was he right. He began to search through his big closet for a shirt to wear before turning around to me.

"So are you going to stand there and watch me change, or...?" He questioned.

I immediately shook my head as for I was daydreaming once again. I walked out embarrassed.

I have to stop doing that.
