QOTD: Favorite Allison moment?
AOTD: It wasn't Scott going through your bags. It was me.

Your car sped down the suburban road at 40 miles per hour. You were above the speed limit, but you were running late to the lacrosse game, and Lydia had insisted that you go.

Your phone was beeping, but you ignored it, focusing on the road.

"Come on," you whispered to yourself, stopping at a red light. You took it as an opportunity to check your many texts. They were all from Lydia.

You started to type that you were on your way, and the light turned green. You continued texting as you sped back up.

Eyes off the road, you suddenly hit something. You came to a screeching halt.

"Oh my god," you said when you saw a person laying on his stomach in the road. You were shaking as you opened the car door and walked up to him. "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay," he flipped himself over, inspecting himself for injury.

"You're Scott McCall," you said in awe, recognizing him from school. "I can't believe I just ran over the star player."

"Don't worry about it," he smiled, standing up. "You're [Y/N], right? Lydia's friend?"

You were surprised that he knew your name. "Yeah."

"So, were you heading to the lacrosse game?"

"Yeah."

"You're going with Lydia?"

"Yeah."

"That's cool."

"Yeah."

"I hate asking, but could I have a ride? You sort of can't say no since you ran me over."

"Yeah," you answered, bug-eyed. Scott McCall was asking you for a ride. Scott McCall was going to be inside your car.

"Great," he said, and you got into the car.

You both reached for the radio at the same time, and your hands brushed against each other. He quickly moved his hand away as you turned bright red. Scott McCall touched your hand. You would never wash it again.

"Are you sure you should be playing?" I swear I heard like ten bones breaking when I hit you."

"I'm fine," he assured you.

Scott tried to talk to you on the way there, but you were so nervous that you just kept saying "yeah".

By the time you got to the lacrosse field, the game had already started. Lydia was waiting for you in the parking lot, an unamused look drawn across her face.

"Coach is going to kill me," Scott muttered, unbuckling his seatbelt.

"You're late," Lydia said when you and Scott got out of the car.

"I hit him with my car," you told her nervously.

"Hey, before I go," Scott looked at you. "If we win the game, we're all going out to dinner. Would you like to be my plus one?"

You opened your mouth to respond, but no words came out, and you just stood there with your mouth open. As quiet as your mouth was, your mind was buzzing. Scott McCall was asking you on a date. Scott McCall was a beautiful specimen, and he was asking you out.

"She'd love to," Lydia said.

"Amazing," Scott smiled, and ran onto the field, determined to win the game.
