Author's Note:
Someone requested sad Jackson, and I'm so sorry I can't find our conversation and I forgot your username. Bonus points if anyone gets the title reference.
QOTD: Opinion on Jackson?
AOTD: Love him

Your head was resting on his chest, like maybe it would start moving up and down again, and you could tell them that he wasn't dead. That they had made a mistake.

Your sobs were loud and uncontrollable, echoing throughout the building. Your tears were so many that his shirt became wet. No one was making any noise except for you.

"[Y/N]," Allison finally came over to you and knelt down. She spoke in a quiet voice, like speaking too loud would make the walls fall down and crush you all. "They need to take the body now."

"Take him and do what with him?" You choked out in between sobs. You didn't dare look up at her. You kept your head on his chest, waiting for him to come back to you.

Allison looked down at Jackson and froze, just seeing his lifeless face for the first time. "Bury him."

"Bury him?" You cried, so loud that Allison jumped. "What about a funeral? What about his family? What about me?"

"We can't take him to the authorities," Allison said calmly. "Not when his face is half green."

"They can't take him!" You screamed, sitting up just enough to cup the sides of his face with your hands and bury your head in his neck. "Tell them they can't take him away!"

Allison didn't need to tell anyone. They could hear you, but you didn't care. You were shutting them out, wishing it were just you and Jackson. Allison seemed to sense this, and went back to stand next to Scott.

"Jackson!" You screamed shrilly. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"

Everyone stood around and looking at each other, waiting for someone to do something. Anything.

You were mad now, mad and crying harder than ever before.

"Wake up! Jackson, wake up! Don't leave me here! Don't leave me here without you! I can't do it! I can't do it without you!" You punched him. "Get up! Get up!"

Allison was crying too now. Because of you.

You were about to punch him again, but a droplet of blood dripped onto his face. You looked at your hand and bursted into a hysterical laughter.

"Look!" You rolled over, onto your knees. "Look, look! There's a hole in my hand!"

Your friends stood, still frozen.

"Allison, look!" You laughed. "There's a hole! A bullet hole in my hand!"

"[Y/N]," Allison pleaded.

You tried to turn your head to look at her, but your laughing stopped abruptly and quickly turned into sobs again as you caught another glimpse at Jackson. "There's... There's a hole in Jackson. There's a bullet hole in his heart." Then you yelled so loud that even the werewolves jumped, slamming your bloodied hand down on the cold ground with every word, "MY HAND! HIS HEART!"

You had tried to stop Gerard's bullet. You had tried to reach out your hand and stop it, and it went right through you.

"There's a hole! There's a hole in the world!"

That was when they had enough.

"[Y/N], we're going to take him now," Derek said, coming up behind you. "And we're going to take care of your hand."

"You're not taking him anywhere!" You screeched, throwing yourself onto his body, hugging him as tight as you could.

"Scott," Derek cleared his throat.

You closed your eyes, holding Jackson and listening to Scott's footsteps creep up on you. You felt four hands on you, and suddenly they were trying to pull you away from Jackson.

"No!" You cried, holding on to the love of your life as tight as you could, but they pulled you up off the ground.

"I'll take her," Derek said. "You take him."

"Don't! Don't take him!" You thrashed around. Derek had you over his shoulder. You thrashed around, violently hitting his back. "Don't take him! He's mine! He's mine! Give him back! Jackson! Jackson!"

Your screams would haunt your friends forever. They would haunt you. They would echo across the earth. And they would never die out, as long as people continued to live.
