(:)(:)(:)

I whistle a happy tune to myself as I start walking home, my hands dig into my pockets. My brother by my side, whining like a little kid. Yeah... Just a normal every other day of my life.

"Why couldn't we have stayed and watched–" Tyler complains before I interrupt him.

"Ty, stop your whining, I already told you a hundred times, I still have to pack," I reply calmly, "Besides... Ronnie put up a hidden camera in the cafeteria and the gym, it'll be sent right to my laptop and his."

"And mine?!" He asks, incredulous.

I roll my eyes. "Mom took your laptop, remember?"

"Well, then my phone or– or my tablet!" He says, getting in front of me and placing his hands on his hip in a sassy manner.

I stop walking, raising my eyebrows at him in amusement. I lean my face closer. "Don't do that, Tyler." I tut, poking his nose, "You wouldn't want people seeing you like this, besides," I straighten up, walking around him, "You wouldn't want people seeing you with me either, right?" I ask, smirking.

I can literally feel his scowl burning a hole through my back but I keep walking happily. After a few seconds, I hear him huff before he finally catches up to me.

I look down at him, only to see him looking everywhere but at me. I also note that he's standing a few feet apart from me.

"What are you doing?" I ask curiously.

"Shush," he says, still not looking at me, "I don't know you."

I scoff, rolling my eyes before an idea suddenly strikes me. I smirk at him but he doesn't notice. I run a few steps ahead of him before turning on my heel.

I cup my hands around my mouth and take a deep breath. "TYLER LEITH IS RELATED TO JORDAN LEITH! HE IS THE YOUNGER BROTHER OF THE BEST PRANKSTER THIS TOWN HAS EVER SEEN. HE IS ALSO IN LOVE WITH VI–"

Tyler makes a sudden high-pitched weird screeching sound making me halt and give him a 'what the heck' look. He runs towards me as I suddenly come to the realization that he's planning on tackling me to the ground.

Holy shenanigan.

I widen my eyes before taking off, Tyler right at my heels.

I huff as I finally arrive home; Tyler not in sight. I take out my key from my front pocket and insert it into the lock, not even checking to see if it's already opened or not.

"Come on, come on, come on," I mutter to myself as I jiggle around the key.

I turn around only to see that Tyler was already in sight. Just a dot in the distance, but still in sight, behind me. I widen my eyes as I curse under my breath. Stupid door, open! Please!

I sigh impatiently as the door doesn't want to open. I pull out the key before ringing the doorbell repeatedly.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!
