"This is going to be great!" I said to Amy across the breakfast table.
"Yeah, I can't wait!" she squealed.
We got ready and then got an Uber to the spa.
On the way, Amy said to me, "Natalie, I've been thinking."
"Mmhmm." I replied, indicating for her to go on.
"Well, you know how you're writing a book about Liam and your experience?"
"Yeah...."
"Maybe you could write a sequel about Ian, and how you're finally moving on."
"No, the whole message of my book is to show that loved ones will always be there in your heart, no matter what. Don't you think writing another book about a new love interest would kind of contradict that?" I replied coolly.
"Oh, fair enough. you could write one and call it "How to get a guy in five days."
I laughed and nudged her.
"I don't think so."
We pulled up outside of the hotel and saw Kat standing there. We got out of the car and walked up to her.
"Hey!" she called, waving at us.
"Hi!" I said, looking around. "Where are the others?"
"Oh, they haven't arrived yet. They're pretty much always late."
We chuckled. "Oh dear." Amy said.
"Lets go inside." Kat suggested.
"Sure, I'll text them to say we've gone in." I said, whipping my phone out.

Hey guys we've gone inside. Just ask for Kat at reception and they'll bring you through xx
Phoebe
Ok, our Uber is late. We should be there in about 10 mins. xx
Nina
I'm stuck in traffic. Be there in 5! xx
