Today was a day where I worked and I was dreading it so much. Ethan didn't want me to work but I had too because I needed the money.

If I was going to be strong enough to see him I had to prove to him that I didn't need him and that I was fine without him.

I put on some nike leggings with a calvin Klien sports bra. I tied my hair up. I was going to get fit because I had put on weight recently because of the break up.

I walked out the room and went downstairs. I cut up some fruit and put it in a bowl. I ate it peacefully whilst watching some youtube videos. Quick instagram of my fruit and I was off. I left a note on the side to tell Ethan where I was.

I started to jog lightly to work and it felt really good. I didn't usually like running but this time it was really relaxing and the sun was just rising so it was pretty. I arrived at work a sweaty mess.

I walked to my locker whilst french braiding my hair into two parts. I opened my locker and grabbed a towel. I patted my face with it so I was less sweaty.

I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I turned to see what it was and it was Jacob. I grabbed what I needed out of my locker and then shut it running off.

Jacob's POV

I saw her standing at her locker in her nike pro shorts. She looked as thin as ever. I know why. I watched as she opened her locker and grabbed her towel.

She had a nice glow to her skin and her hair looked amazing. I missed her so much.

I watched as she turned and looked at me it was all in slow-motion. The water dripped off her face. I couldn't help but stare. It all went back to reality and she frowned at me and frantically grabbed her things from her locker and left.

I didn't expect her to forgive me but I wanted her to. More than I ever wanted anything. I turned around and walked off the go to work.

Emily's POV

After work I went to the gym. I needed to get fit. I opened up the door and payed for an hour. I watched the worker eye me up and down. I rolled my eyes and took my change.

I could sense him staring at me as I walked away.

I walked into the gym and was shocked. I had no idea what to do. I was a gym newbie. I walked over to the spin bike and hopped on that. It looked easy enough.

I placed my bottle in the holder. I placed my phone in the phone holder and plugged in my headphones. I played the rocks workout playlist and started to cycle. I went slow at first and sped up.

I set a timer for ten minutes. I was a sweaty mess but I felt good. I climbed off and my legs felt so giddy.

A gym assistant helped me as my legs collapsed. I sat down on the side.

"You okay?" He asked me.

"Yeh I'm fine" I breathed in and out heavily.

"You were working a little hard on there. You have to take it easy" He patted my back.

"Yeah I know, I'm just going through a hard time" I smiled.

"Break up?" He asked me.

How did he know.

"More sort of a divorce but we haven't got to that stage yet"

"Life is hard" He shook his head.

"Tell me about it" I said sighing.

"Well good luck" He started to walk away "Oh and ask me for help next time your here, the names Liam" He winked.

"Emily" I smiled.

He turned his back and walked away "Nice to meet you Emily"

I walked home and it was already 6:00pm. Ethan probably won't be home.

I placed my keys on the side and slid off my trainers. I walked straight to the kitchen. I poured myself a glass of water and guzzled it down.

I grabbed some lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber and made a salad. I cooked some chicken from the night before and chucked that in the salad. I poured a slight bit off salad dressing over the top and then sat down to eat it.

I scrolled through my social media and then messaged Tyler. I cleared up my dish and went into the living room. I felt really lonely and I knew Ethan wouldn't be home for at least four hours. I decided to text Gray.

[Emily] Come round I'm lonely.

{Gray] Where's Eth?

[Emily] Work.

[Gray] Be there in 2.

A few minutes later I heard the door open and in came Grayson.

"I didn't know you had a key" I asked

"Yeh I do" He smiled.

We sat and watched a movie until we heard Ethan pull up in the driveway.

"Quick turn the lights off" Gray whispered. I turned them off and Gray chucked himself behind the sofa. I army crawled over to him.

He told me to shush. We sat in the dark waiting for him to open the door.

I couldn't help but want to laugh. Ethan walked through the door and called for me

"Emily, I'm home" He called through out the house.

"Em" He walked into the living room. As he did Gray grabbed his ankle. He jumped up and screamed.

"What was that!" He shouted we both jumped out and shouted boo.

He jumped back and fell on his butt. We both burst out laughing and I turned the lights on.

Ethan was sat on the floor with fear in his eyes and his hand on his chest. He was breathing heavily.

"Emily that's not funny. I thought I was being taken by aliens" He looked around "Oh hi Gray"

We laughed.

"Feel my heart" Ethan pulled our hands towards it.

"Sorry bro" Gray said.

"Sorry Eth" I bit my lip.

"Come on let's watch a film" Grayson said helping Ethan up.

We walked over to the sofa and I sat in-between them. I was so happy to be with both of them. They were both so funny, kind and caring.
