I walked around with the Schuyler's for a few more hours before they had to get home. Angelica and Peggy had told me to stop over any time I wanted. I got a snack and walked around a bit when someone tossed an arm around my shoulder. I grabbed their arm and twisted it painfully behind their back.

"Ow! AH Gigi! Really!" Alex complained.

I immediately released his arm.

"Oh Alex! I'm so sorry!" I fretted.

"It's ok G, I should have told you it was me," he said putting his arm back around me.

I noticed the guys and Burr across the square and tugged Alex in their direction.

"Morning Lafayette, Hercules!" I chirped.

"Mademoiselle! Bonjour!" Lafayette called kissing my hand.

"I hope I made you a bit more comfortable this morning," I teased.

"Oui! Thank you," He said.

"Not a problem."

"Hear ye, hear ye! My name is Samuel Seabury, and I present, "Free thoughts on the proceedings of the Continental Congress!" A man shouted from a soap box.

"Oh this should be entertaining," I joked, as we moved to see what this Samuel Seabury had to say

"Heed not the rabble who scream revolution! They have not your interest at heart"

"Oh my god. Tear this dude apart." Hercules groaned.

"Chaos and bloodshed are not a solution. Don't let them lead you astray. This congress does not speak for me!" Seabury exclaimed

"Really? He can't be serious," I scoffed.

"Let him be," Burr said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

Alex turned to glare at him and I shrugged his hand off.

"They're playing a dangerous game. I pray the king shows you his mercy. For shame, for shame!"

A Growl bubbled from my lips.

"His Mercy?" I snapped incredulously.

Alex marched through the crowd and confronted Seabury

"Yo! He'd have you all unravel at the sound of screams. But the revolution Is comin'. The have-nots are gonna win this!" Alex said, even as Seabury repeated his message.

"It's hard to listen to you with a straight face." I shouted defending Alexander.

"Chaos and bloodshed, Already haunt us. Honestly, you shouldn't even talk, And what about Boston? Look at the cost of all that we've lost And you talk about Congress?" Alex snarked.

"This Congress does not speak for me," Seabury tried to defend.

"My dog speaks more eloquently than thee," I laughed. "And strangely your mange is the same!"

The boys laughed and high fived me.

"I pray the king shows you his mercy," Seabury squeaked.

"Is he in Jersey!" Alex asked, feigning excitement.

"OOOHHH!"

"For shame---"

"For the Revolution!" Alex cheered, punching his fist into the air.

"For the revolution!" The square hollered.

Seabury once again tried to reiterate himself.

"If you repeat yourself again I'm gonna scream. Honestly, look at me, please don't read!" Alex whined.

I strode forward and Snatched the paper from his hands.

"Don't modulate the key then not debate with me. Why should a tiny island across the sea Regulate the price of tea?" Alex snapped

"Alexander, please!" Burr pleaded.

"Burr, we'd rather be divisive than indecisive, Drop the niceties," I snapped at the man.

"A Message from the king!" Someone called.

I snorted as someone handed everyone a letter.

"Come on Gigi. I believe there is a revolution calling our names," Alex said.

"And we're gonna kick some British ass," I concluded.

"And you're gonna have some friends back in ya asses up!" Laurens beamed, pulling me into a hug.

I let out a screech as he twirled me around.

"No!" I giggled.

"Come on you flirts. We have a war to win." Alex moaned, shooting me a look.

We both blushed brightly and stepped away from each other, yet staying close together so our hands brushed when our arms swung.
