I got to school and went to my locker to get my books and Mitch was waiting for me.
"Hey. How're you feeling?" He asked
"Much better. Thanks"
"Great. Come on, we don't want to be late to homeroom"
"Right. Let's go"
We walked to homeroom together and sat next to each other, like we always do.

I walked into math, one of the three classes I have with Jeremy, and sat next to him.
"Hi" I whispered as class was starting
"Hi, how are you feeling?" He asked
"Much better, thanks"
"Hey, this might be a weird question, but are you and Mitch dating?"
"No, he's my best friend. We've been friends for a very long time"
"So you're single"
"Yeah"
"Would you like to go out with me tonight?"
"I'd love to"
"I'll pick you up at 8:00"

"Mitch, what do you think about this?" I asked trying on clothes for the date
"The skirt looks great, try it with the red top" I tried it on and it looked amazing. "And the black shoes"
"What do you think for makeup?"
"Smokey eye and red lips"
"And hair?"
"Waterfall braid"
I ran into the bathroom and put the clothes and makeup on and did my hair.
