Kirstie's POV

I got off the plane home and found my mom easily. We got my bag and headed to the car and drove home. I was going back to school tomorrow. Leo was staying with his family for an extra day.

I couldn't be happier to be home and go back to school and be with my friends. I never want to have to deal with my dad ever again.

I actually woke up and made it to my bus on time on Monday. I was a little nervous for today as I was redoing my presentation just for my teacher during last period. The day of the presentation Mrs. V said a week, but stuff happened and we kept on having to push it off.

The day went by pretty slowly. I was happy to be back with my friends, but I was really nervous for the presentation. Before I knew it, it was presentation time. I walked into the classroom and set up everything I needed. Mrs. V, Jeremy, Mitch, and Scott sat at desks to watch my presentation.

I went through the presentation with ease, until the one part I messed up on last time, the live example. I looked to my friends and Jeremy and started.

"So I'm going to be singing a song I wrote for my boyfriend. He was the person who helped me through the hardest time in my life, my father leaving.

It's 10 past 2, still up thinking of you

As I finished the presentation the 5 people in the room erupted with applause. Wait, 5 people? Last I checked there was only 4 people not including myself. I looked to the door and saw my father.

"Dad? What are you doing here?"
