My Immortal

On The Run

 Roman paced the hotel room nervously, he had gotten a text from Dean 15 minutes ago telling Roman to meet him at their spot. When Roman tried to question him, all Dean would say was that it was important! As he paced all kinds of bad things ran through his mind about why Dean needed to see him so badly and he was scared shitless! Suddenly, the door opened and Dean rushed inside, Roman went and hugged him.

 "Dean, what's going on?" Roman asked, when the hug ended.

 "We have a problem!" Dean answered sighing.

 "They...they know about us, don't they?" Roman asked quietly.

 "Yeah baby boy, they do." Dean replied.

 "Wait...you're still alive, so that means you're break..."

 "Nope! I told you Roman, they aren't breaking us apart!" Dean said, cutting Roman off.

 "I...I don't understand! You should be..."

 "Dead?" Dean asked, cutting him off again, Roman nodded. "I attacked first and then took off!" 

 "So, they're coming after us now?" Roman questioned nervously.

 "Nope, the Vampire Bounty Hunters are coming after me only!" Dean answered.

 "The what?" 

 "The Vampire Bounty Hunters are an elite group of vamps, who are trained to track and capture rouge vamps."

 "What...what do they do with them once they've captured the vamps?" Roman asked.

 "It depends on their orders from the Elders and Vassago. Usually though they're ordered to kill the vamp they're after."

 "Have...have they ever failed to find their target?"

 "Never...until now! They've never been sent after me before and I'm not your average vamp baby boy!" Dean answered smiling.

 "Why aren't they after me?" Roman questioned confused. "I thought you said they knew about us?"

 "I did and they do! They only know I'm in love with a mortal man...they just don't know who you are! I never said your name or described you to anyone and I was careful to keep you hidden to keep you safe!"

 "So, what...what happens now?" 

 "I have to leave for awhile baby boy, I...I can't contact you while I'm on the run, not until I know it's safe."

 "You're leaving?" Roman asked quietly, his tears falling silently.

 "Not forever Ro! Please don't cry baby boy!" Dean said gently, as he took Roman in his arms. "I need to disappear for awhile and lose the Hunters. I'll be back to see you every chance I get, okay?" He added, Roman nodded, as he held onto Dean tightly.

 "I'm scared Dean! What...what if they catch you?" Roman asked, as he pulled away.

 "They won't!" Dean answered.

 "Dammit Dean, how can you be so sure?"

 "Because I'm Dean Ambrose and more importantly I have you to keep me fighting! Ro, it won't be easy, I'll be gone days at a time with no contact of any kind, but I promise you I will come to you when I can." Dean said kissing him. "I love you Roman."

 "I love you too Dean, be safe and come home to me."

 "I will." Dean replied quietly, before he held him close again. "I gotta go baby boy, I love you."
