**The Next Day**:

Dean stood outside in the backyard alone, he stood completely still, eyes closed and a smile on his face, as he focused on the early morning sounds of nature all around him. He rarely got a chance to mediate anymore; especially since declaring war on his kind, but when he did get a chance to do it, it always made him feel calmer and more focused. He was completely healed from the attack last night, he didn't even have any scars, just some slight stiffness to his body, but a good, long run would fix that! He sighed, as he opened his eyes and looked around, he's been trying since last night to clear his mind so he could concentrate on figuring out what they needed to do next, but all he could think about was how they were running out of time. They needed to figure out the damn prophecy soon or their chance of winning disappeared! He was so frustrated that the prophecy told them how he could kill Vassago, but none of them could translate it!

Needing to finally clear his head he began running, he started off slowly, but after a few minutes he began running at full speed. As he ran he was unseen by the forest animals; he was too quick to be noticed, but he saw everything clearly, as if he were walking. After running for awhile he felt better both physically and mentally, so he returned to the house, as he neared he saw Roman coming outside looking for him.

"There you are!" Roman said smiling. "Where were you?"

"Morning baby boy, I just went for a run." Dean greeted him, before he kissed him.

"A run? You aren't even sweaty!" Roman said shocked.

"Another perk of being a Vamp!" Dean replied smiling, before he kissed him again. "Are the others up yet?"

"Yep, we're about to have breakfast. You hungry?" Roman asked, as he took his hand and they went inside.

 "Uh, yeah, but not for..."

"Food, I know." Roman said, cutting him off. "I already made your breakfast, it's on the counter, Seth's making ours."

"Thanks Ro." Dean replied, as they went into the kitchen.

"Dean!" Rose said happily, when she saw him, before she got up and ran to him.

"Morning kid!" Dean greeted her smiling, as she hugged him.

"You're...you're all better!" She said amazed, as she looked at him.

"Yep! I told you I would be, like I said last night, it's a perk of being a Vampire!"

"I'll never get used to that...ever!" Professor Grant said, as he came into the kitchen.

 "What? Me being a Vam..."

"Don't say it please!" Grant begged, cutting Dean off.

 "Say what? Vam..."

"You hungry Professor? I made breakfast." Seth asked, as he began serving everyone, cutting Dean off again on purpose.

"You could share mine if you want?" Dean teased, as he picked up the glass and held it out to Grant, who looked like he was going to be sick.

"I...I lost my appetite! I think I'll just have a coffee." Grant answered.

"So Professor, any luck with the prophecy or tattoos?" Paige asked, as she fed Violet.

"No, nothing new I'm afraid. I did however find out through some of my colleagues that there are some old books that would be able to help us translate it!" Grant explained smiling, as he made his coffee.
